My game wishlist is too long for 2009, please help!

I know there are some smart gamers out there who read this forum. I just made a list of games that I'm very interested in but I am not sure of all their release dates. Can you tell me which ones come out THIS YEAR (and when) and which ones aren't out till next year (so I can put them off for now). Thanks! (in no specific order) Darksiders Brutal Legend Dante's Inferno COD MW2 Halo: ODST Assassin's Creed 2 Borderlands Forza 3 Bioshock 2 Lost Planet 2 Splinter Cell Conviction Mass Effect 2 Alan Wake Dark VoidBuster_Highman

Bioshock 2, Alan Wakeand Lost Planet 2 are next year.

Mass Effect 2 = 2010 (Everyone knows this),

Splinter Cell : Conviction =2010 (Delayed)

BioShock 2= 2010

Dante's Inferno = 2010

Darksiders = 2010

Alan Wake = 2010

Dark Void= 2010, in Europe/UK. (Just off the top of my head.)

Those are all next year.

Evil Company ACTIVISION is TRYING TO STOP BRUTAL LEGENDS from coming out this year as well.

Those are all either PC/360 games also. We didn't even talk about other great console games coming this year!

Cut out a couple RPGs, get a job, or rob from people. This is a great year for games. This holiday season will be insanely good.bronxxbombers

As a PS3 owner, watching near everything of interest get delayed to early 2010, my list this year is pretty short.

• Katamari Tribute
• Uncharted 2
• Demon's Souls
• Need For Speed Shift (if the port is good)
• Tekken 6
• Brutal Legend (port being good or not may be made irrelevant by the awesome)
• Ratchet & Clank: A Crack In Time
• PES2010: Pro Evolution Soccer

May pick up a couple more multiplats too. Not buying MW2 new or at that ridiculous UK price though, even if I like the series. Activision are an evil company with pushy tactics and the worst CEO imaginable who can seriously go **** themselves up the ****er.

Don't buy more games than you'll be able to play. Seriously. I have a ton of games sitting around that I have barely scratched the surfaces of. If I had waited to buy them when I actually got around to them, I would have saved maybe like 30 bucks PER game.Screamteam411

Prioritizing your games list is a definite thing. I'm obsessed with Mass Effect, so when the sequel hits that is definitely what I'm picking up first. I'm also an Assassin's Creed fan, but that experience ranks under Mass Effect for me, so it can wait.

Another thing is multiplayer games. It's really nice to get in on them when they first come out so you can sort of "grow in experience" at about the same pace as the community. Also, when a new multiplayer game comes out, chances are your friends may have it, and they'll be playing it a lot for the first 2 weeks and that'll be prime time to have some fun with them. CoD MW2 is definitely a must-buy for me in that regard.

And as I mentioned, if you were to buy Brutal Legend for example, and another friend of yours bought Darksiders, you could always lend each other your games (considering they're both linear actiongames right?) after you're finished.

Those are the only 2009 ones, Splinter Cell got delayed a few days ago. Lost Planet could be 2010, I haven't been following it.

From there, tough choice. Obviously MW 2 is going to be worth a buy. So will ODST. You know Forza will be great, just depends how much you like racing games.

Assassin's Creed 2 seems to be delivering, and Brutal Legend has won almost every Best of E3 award. Borderlands COULD fail, but it probably will be good.

If I had to narrow it down, def buy MW 2 and Brutal Legend. Wait for reviews on the rest and pick from there.
