my god, xbox lost bioshock to ps3 !!!

Sooooooooooo, now that's really hilarious. The PS3 witch had the best 2008 lineup, now has the best game on the xbox 360 console. Poor lemmings, you are looooooosing again !!!

old news. but seriously? the 360's (and pc's) not losing much and the PS3 isn't getting much from this, either. good story, great atmosphere, and great artistic look won't make up for the rather shallow gameplay, but at least Bioshock is more damn original than other recent shooters

Agreed.

The game play was one of the worst parts of BioShock. The videos made it look so much fun, and the fact that I could kill enemies in a bunch of different ways sounded cool... Then I actually played the game.

Then I actually looked at what the game had to offer and learned that just because it wasn't what I wanted, doesn't mean it's going to be a bad game.

It looks fun.

By the way, there will still be on foot sections.

i kind of got sucked into that, too. videos looked cool and there was lots of hype and even disappointment that the game didn't get a 9.5 (or... an 11 :?). sounded cool, but then there goes a $50 that i'll never, ever get back

Lets see, Sony lost GTA and DMC exclusivity. That was HUUUGE!!! RE 5 is multiplat. Alone in the Dark comes out for everything BUT the PS3 this June.

But wait, 360 has Fable 2, Too Human, Gears of War 2, Banjo 3 and Infinite Undiscovery all to themselves and all in 2008!!!

Damage? BioShock is a great game and it is awesome that more people get to enjoy it. I do find it odd however that cows are excited for this because you guys talk so much about how you buy games like this for your PC anyways

The term "Fanboy" comes to mind, but either way, its not exclusive, its on PC, end of story.

ahhh... lets see here... A. The game was multiplat between PC and XBOX, unless of course cows want to admit that PC/XBOX is a related platform.

B. Did anybody keep any posts of the millions of cows who claimed to own this game on their top end rig? Cows, you have no ownage on this site whatsoever...

C. PS3's precious 2008 is sinking like a lead weight to the 360 everyday. All we heard for a year is "just wait" and "2008 will be the comback of the ps3, no one stands a chance." um.. yeah, no.... The 360 08' is showing it has more than enough firepower maybe more in comparrison to the ps3's lineup of overhype....

In essence, enjoy Bioshock, it was an excellent game maybe the best of 07'... it will not save your 08 however.

Awesome...well, whoever doubt it? This afterall is the "Year Of The PS3".

I'd just like to say I could care less about Bioshock finding its way onto the PS3, especially damn near a year after it came out and all the hype is gone and people are starting to look forward to Bioshock 2. Enjoy a game everyone and their mother has already played, and a game that really wasn't that great either. Sure it had its moments, but System Shock 2 was alot better. Maybe if Bioshock was truly an exclusive it might matter a little bit. In the mean time UT III is finding its way onto the 360, and its already been confirmed to be better on the 360 than it was on the PS3. So go ahead and take Bioshock, its done all its gonna do and I doubt it'll do much on the PS3, I'll be looking forward to Bioshock 2 =p

Also Bioshock doesn't really measure up to other games Sony lost, Devil May Cry 4, Resident Evil 5, GRAND THEFT AUTO 4 (the big one), and I'm sure I could go on, but I think I've made my point. Bioshock will do on the PS3 just as much as Haze will do on the 360, enjoy a year old game, cause everyone else already has.
