My mini-review of Mass Effect

Ok well I got my copy yesterday at EB and this is what I think, I'll do it in point form.

Pros:

Great dialog
Graphics look great most of the time
The normandy is like a more awesome ebon hawk
6hours in and barely even started anything, this is MUCH longer than 12 hours(another thread said it was only12 hours long)
Interesting characters, even the ambassador has his own unique personality.
Amazing voice acting, best since HL2.
Some of the music is awesome...


Cons:

...but some is pretty bland and repetertive. Kotor had a better soundtrack.
Framerate problems, especially in worlds with blizards and other weather effects.
Texture pop-ups, UT3 engine strikes again.
Combat id alright butcan be a bit meh sometimes, it's no GeoW but it's good enough for an RPG.

So far 9/10. It has it's flaws but it is a great game. :)

Dude, after 2 hours of playing, IT'S FREAKING AWESOME.

Pros

- Amazing graphics/best facial animations I've ever seen in a game

- Fun to play

- Really Costumizable (is that a word?)

- Engaging story.

My only con so far is it's pretty overwhelming at first, and the graphic pop in here and there.

Assassins creed is shaping up to be over 12 hours for me(Doing everything except stupid flags). I can't imagine AC, or any Bioware game being so short.

I clocked 22 hours on Bioshock on Medium difficulty. Nice mini review, I'll be recieving my Limited Edition in the mail on the 20th. Cant WAIT!

Well I got all the audio diaries and all but one tonic(too many little sisters harvested) in eight hours.
