Great for parties

Appeals to all audiences no matter what age

Home to the 2007 GOTY Super Mario Galaxy

Innovative with the Wii-mote

Able to buy your favorite classics on the store

Has a pretty good line up for 2008

Online is in last place compared to the PSN and XBL

Not many 3rd party Games are available

Too Much Shovelware

Games dont quite look as good as the PS3 and 360 games

Superb Online

Xbox Arcade offers many great games from years ago

Xbox originals is great, ecspecially if you've never played the great xbox 1 games before

$4 dollars a month is a very good deal for live, even so is $50 for 1 year and 1 month

Great Exclusives, Gears of War, Halo 3, Forza Motorsport 2, Dead Rising, Crackdown

Great 2008 line up

Able to play music while your gaming

CONS

The RRoD affects many consoles

No Built in Wifi

No Modding is available

Sometimes the asking price for some content is unreasonable

Once you buy a movie and press play it goes away in 24 hours

Everyone who bought a built in HD-DVD player is kind of screwed (but HD-DVD movies are still selling)

Not Very popular in Japan

Console Malfunctions (besides the RRoD)

i didnt mention that because you dont need that in most PC games, FPS plays better on Keyboard and mouse, strategy, MMORPG, RPG plays better on the mouse, the only exceptions i can think of are sports and racing games

to be fair that can be true ALOT, people who bought a PC before core 2 duo hand have the old pentiumD (like me) had to pay through the nose for a new, yet vastly improved, processor. new graphics card lines come out quite regulary but its worth it to keep up, ive just done an upgrade and ive only had my pc for 2 years so yet regualr updaes can be a killer

How are any of those really cons? First off how are you going to say a downfall to the PS3 is that Blu Ray movies are to expensive for it? Sony has no control over the price of Blu Rays except for the ones by Sony Entertainment.

Second, if the PS3 gets a AAAE will it automatically change the image the PS3 has? The PS3 has AAA games and a ton of great AA exclusive games. Whether one of those exclusives is AAA or not is entirely up to each individual that plays the games.

Third, how is waiting for a game to come out a con? Especially when Sony has no ability to change its release date.

This thread shouldn't be Non bias pros and cons for each system, it should be really unintelligent pros and cons for each system. Or little nit picky insignifcant details about each system.

you can't watch HD-DVD's on the PS3, that's bein' nit-picky though.

I'm pretty sure the Virtual Console has a much better selection of old achol games.

Well, here it is:

PC:

pros: Mouse+keyboard, upgradeable and customizable, can do more than just games, most powerful and best graphics (depending on your hardware), huge game library, fully backwards compatible w/games, and of course, Crysis

cons: expensive compared to consoles, can spike electric bill

Wii:

pros: Cheap, has some great first party games like metroid, SMG, and Brawl, interesting controls

cons: Underwhelming graphics, online service sucks

PS3:

pros: blu-ray, most powerful console (although its graphics seem on par with the 360), free online service

cons: most expensive console, somewhat of a lack of games

360:

pros: great online service, good selection of games

cons: Most of the great games on it are multiplatform
