is the frame rate being at 30. I know it will be stable and not dip, but I really hope some future title bump it up to at least 45/60 FPS will still maintaing graphic integrity. Hell game like Metal Gear Rising Revengeance run at 60 FPS on the PS3.

Im a hermit, and i will clarify your problem.
Â
Ps4 games that try to push the graphic limits at the very top will run at 1080p 30 frames per second ( killzone)
Ps4 games that dont try to push the graphic limits but still look reasonably well will push 1080p 60 frames per  second. ( next gen call of duty)
Â
It all depends what the developers want to do, Some might try to push high graphics but bring it down a notch below 1080p but not as low as 720P. Â so it can keep the framerate at 60 while pushing graphics.Â
Â
Most shooters that take themselfs seriously on ps4 for multiplayer will be at 1080p 60 frame. Â
45fps would be great, no need 60 when sensitivity is so slow on controllers. For now i haz no disappointments with ps4 and that's a miracle.silversix_
Oh I am definitely loving what I have seen so far, but nothing is perfect.
When you have limited hardware you have to sacrifice a lot for that magical 60FPS.clyde46
I guarantee the majority of PC gamers cannot run Crysis 3 at the highest settings with anything close to 60 fps. So PC gamers are limited by money. Not trying to argue, just pointing out that most PC gamers are not running super rigs.
Framerates will be 30 to improve graphics. The games will have performance issues. There will be pop-in, screen tearing etc. They're consoles. Just because they're new doesn't mean all the performance problems we had this gen will disappear. freedomfreak
There will not be pop-in with with likely at least 6 GB of ram devoted to games. Screen tearing will also be at worst. Those a much worse issues than 30 fps and you are wrong about that

You'll see it when developers start pushing the hardware. These are not miracle machines that come to save consoles from the performance issues they've been suffering from since forever.[QUOTE="StrongBlackVine"][QUOTE="freedomfreak"]Framerates will be 30 to improve graphics. 30, 60, 8000, meh. Your eye can't physically differentiate.Sali217
You are probably right. I will take 1080p/30fps over 720/60fps every time.
If the hardware isn't up to par, then yes, they do. Don't see what that has to do with my post though. So PCs don't suffer from these issues? Oh I forgot every one on System Wars has a new $1200 gaming rig.

Well, sort of. 60 fps will look better, but it's not because it's 60 fps, it's because a frame rate drop is less noticeable. A STEADY 30 fps is the key.I was going to mention BC but then i thought about it a bit and with PS1 games i already exclusivly play those on my PS Vita and with PS2 games i pretty much just play the HD collections on PS3 and i knew that there was never going to be PS3 BC because of the Cell so i can't be dissappointed about that. I guess we'll just have to wait and see what else comes to light soon. I suppose arguement could be made for other people who would use the BC of PS1+2 games on the console, I don't think anyone with half a brain ever thought the PS4 would be able to play PS3 games though.

That's it? You're not disappointed that it doesn't have backwards compatibility and you can't transfer PSN games?
What about having to pay for PSN? What about it costingalmost $500?
I think frame rate should be your last concern right about now.
Pay for PSN? I never used it when it was free in the first place, not gonna miss it Costing $500? I'll wait for a price dropThat's it? You're not disappointed that it doesn't have backwards compatibility and you can't transfer PSN games?

Looked fine to me. I'm sure there will be plenty of games that will be in 60 fps later, but either way I was very impressed. Killzone Shadowfall is the best looking game ever made, hands down. Of course some people are going to try and justify their purchase so many won't admit it.
The only thing I'm wondering about is the price, but regardless I'll be getting one this year. PS4 early adopter!

Shouldn't you keep your disappointment in check until we all have the genuine hardware and some games to test it with? Besides, that's just one game. Other developers may go with 60 fps at 1080p.
My only disappointment is that my PSN games won't transfer to the PS4. Because of this, I have been turned off to buying games off PSN.AmazonTreeBoaPSN games are PS3 games, there no PS3 BC :> I don't belive they won't have unified PSN store, it will only cause problems for them, so i bet you will find download list same as in Vita and i bet you will find PS1 game working like on PSP and Vita which might work on PS4
