My PS2 is dying help!!!

My PS2 is having a hard time reading discs. In the browser the message "reading disc" pops up but then after a second or two it disappears. Anyone know how to fix it?

I don't get why people who are having hardware problems come on a website to get help instead of actually contacting the hardware maker who can actually help them (WOW what a concept)!

i have this problem with DVDs i just keep ejecting the disc til it reads all the way. btw wrong forumAsadMahdi59
