Well yesterday I went over a freind's house who just bought a PS3 recently. He bought Resistance and got Fight Night Round 3 from gamefly. First of all I have to say that the controller is so light , I really liked that. We played Resistance co-op and I must say that Resistance is a really fun game. I personally liked the single player more than Gears.Your a very unbiased grasshoppa! Be proud of your self!
Then we started playing Fight Night Round 3. Although I played this game on my 360 and beat it, it is still a great game on the 360. It was still a really fun game and it looks even better on the PS3. Overall PS3 is a great system. In the near future I will definatly buy one.
PS3 fans should be really happy because they have a very good and fun system. Sure it may not have the strongest game line-up right now, but what console did in its first 3-4 months. I know the 360 didn't really have alot of games at that time in its life- span also. Ps3 will be a great console with plenty of good games. Both Xbox Fans and Playstion fans should be very happy with both of their systems.
All you people that played a PS3 in gamestop or Best Buy etc. Thats not called experincing the PS3. Experiencing the PS3 is playing it with freinds or alone at home on your chair or couch. Not standing and playing demos and judging a system based on that.
BTW This is comming for a Xbox 360 owner.

The problem is at $600 I find it hard to justify the purchase for it now considering there are no games out at the moment that I would consider a must buy.

nice, although i prefer the other systems to the PS3, there is no way that anyone can possibly hate any system. I mean, if there are atleast some games that are fun for it, and you have a fun time, that's all that matters isn't it? hendrix29That is true don't judge it by brand but the games.
[QUOTE="daveg1"]No console has loads of games out when its only been out for 4 months. the ps3 has one game...resistence.and you based a whole system on two games you played in a few hours spent at your freinds house???
p.s. the ps3 should have a load of games out by now.
demon565
People need to find some other excuses , because PS3 has way more than Resistance. I think you should go to the PS3 page. Maybe they don't have alot of exclusives at the moment but they will have them later. They already have 3-4 exclusives out. So I don't know what you are talking about. demon565Those exclusives are not that good aside from resistance.

TC, I agree with you. I have both systems. I LOVE fnr3. The ps3 version is a spectacular version. I just picked up VF5 and have been thoroughly enjoying that as well. I spend more time with my ps3 right now because of resistance, fnr3 and vf5, but I love my 360 and wouldn't give up either system; they both are excellent. Dave_NBFYeah each system has its share of great games.

Well for 4 or so hours of playing I guess that its a good system to have fun with your freinds, as is the 360. I personally think that everyone should get both of these system if they have freinds come over. For example after your finished playing some halo 3 or something you can move on and play some Killzone 2 ( lol but thats in the future ) . You get alot more verity in the games you play.

Since everyone who owns a PS3 is adding their 2 cents on the subject..................... I guess I might as well too. I thought Resistance was a fun game. Single player was good and multiplayer was good for upto 10 hours. The game is definately worth the money. I enjoyed the single player & multiplayer portion of GeOW more than Resistance.
The games coming out this year 2007 might push you to buy the system if something interests you. The only game I'm eagerly anticipating on the PS3 is Heavenly Sword this year.
