I got the PS3 for Chrismas and have taken such good care. I have never moved it and when I took it out of the box I used microfibers. I don't touch the Ps3 except the powebutoon and eject. Today I took the PS3 out and put it under sunlight to see how mant scratches ove 5,000 I belive I mean WTF. I handel it with so much care does anybidy know any polish to make the scates go or seem less. I might have to brake the PS3 and use the Bestbuy warrenty to get rid of these scarthes. ANd I bought this new.

Either you're lying about owning a PS3, or you just suck at taking care of your PS3.

If you care that much about the aesthetics of your PS3, why don't you just disconnect it from your TV and put it in some display case?

Sure, whatever you say. It's worthless now because you can't take care of the damn thing properly. If you'd clean your house a little better dust particles and other airborne particles won't destroy the finish on your Playstation 3.

I recommend getting a better vacuum.

Maybe the scratches are lines of dust that need to be cleaned off. Try polishing it with a dry cotton cloth.:?

Just keep it out of the light?  I mean yeah its annoying when your system or something of that value gets scratches but I dont see it as a reason to break it and and get a new one.

I honestly never saw a thread with so many back to back troll posts. You guys need to calm down. He's asking about polish, not about air filters or vaccum cleaners.

He comes to System Wars complaining about his Playstation 3 being scratched. If he wanted friendly advice, he'd be in the Playstation 3 forum. So in return, he's getting bashed, because this is a flamebait topic.

And bashing is childish and against the TOS here. Flamebait or not, it's ridiculous.

The TC is obviously doing something negligent that is causing damage to the exterior of his console. I have had my Playstation 3 since last November and it still shines like the day I bought it. So, he's either lying, or doing something wrong.

probably done before it ever got put in the box...plus why do you care about a few small scratches you can only see in the light?

p.s. every plastic object is covered in those very very small scratches, they cant be provented!
