my thoughts on warhawk.

After not going to school and spending the whole day playing warhawk , complete with all the new addons and patches, I must admit the game is full of awesomeness!

let me take you through the sequence...

So I woke up and remembered school was starting 2hrs late today, which meant classes are only 18mins long...which meant we won't be doing anything important...which meant It shouldnt have any significant effect on my grades if I stayed home...so I stayed home.

at 9:45, my dad was gone. After drinking a cup of cappuccino, I brought my PS3 to the HDbig screen in the living room and plugged it in. I checked the mail and my debit card to my new checking account had been delivered. It took 2secs to activate it over the phone and the next thing I know, i was downloading the demo to warhawk, and then the next thing, I was purchasing the full game and paying an extra 15 for th addon pack.

SO few minutes later i was getting my ass whooped in the game and few hours later I was kicking some ass, myself....

I exited out of the game nd with my PS3 actually went on youtube and found some tips and tricks...then returned to the game to continue

I played alot of TDM and CTF which were both fun even though my team lost everygame!!!!!

ANYWAY I decided that due to the underrating and under-attention this game has recieved I'd go online and try to see what people think is better, warhawk or Halo 3...people actually say halo 3 on youtube and on some googled links....google!!!

In conclusion the game was fun and freaking awesome!!!! I should be a pro with a few more hours of gameplay.

Even though purchasing this game just set me about 45$back from my 1000$ goal of getting a gaming rig, I should have my gaming rig by March 6th...the same day the Watchmen comes to theaters...which looks to be awesome by the way!

Warhawk is awesome. definatly a really fun game in you love multiplayer. not as good as halo 3 though. are there a lot of servers still? or is it tough to find a decent game?ski11buzz

i still play the game a lot. it's still unbelievably easy to find games, and there are lots of dedicated servers. i never got any issue with lag, and that's especially impressive because i live in Brazil.

I truely believe that Warhawk is one of the BEST online multiplayers on a console this gen. Yes, the first month or two was rough. But it is butter smooth now and has been since then. And the support has been insane. No, it doesn't bring the intensity that other online shooter do. But it makes up for it with fun and flying. There is no game like it, IMO. Anyone who owns a PS3 and likes online MP, HAS to check this game out. If not, you are missing something truely great.PoppaGamer

It is very good, Its still my main online game after all this time.

theres always so much to do, I love sniping on the new collection mode, its brilliant sniping someone from far away who has a core, then you just wait for some poor sap to take the bait :P I got 3 kills doing that today, brilliant.

My favourite vehicle is actually the jeep, if you know the map you can get around fast without worrying about warhawks, and the turret can even take on tanks...

I would maybe consider going back to that game because yeah it was pretty great. The thing that made me quit was how they stupidly allowed people to change sides in the middle of a ranked match. I was getting team killed like crazy in the ground game all the time then when I checked the player list it was guys from the opposite sides clans.

Lame dev decision that I always hoped would get fixed.

Forget youtube. Want a pro tip? Switch to your knife when you are not in combat. Switching to your knife = Invisible on radar. Alot of people don't seem to know this online yet it's so basic.

Warhawk is terrific. The fun factor is off the charts and it's really well balanced considering all that is going on.Definitely in my top 5 ps3 games so far this gen (probably number #2 actually).

Warhawk is AWESOME. One of the best online games right now IMO. Hopefully we can see a Warhawk 2, or something similar to that sort. I don't want to buy a two year old game that will soon deplete of online players as soon as Killzone 2 comes out. Demo rocked though.masterflame10

I've downloaded it and have never been able to get into it. I've had it for months but have never played a match. Is it hard to get into? Will you get the unrelentlessly get the crap beaten out of you because of all of the ace players that have been playing for months?heretrix

Quick answer : Yes.

However, go into the noob rooms, and I recommend limiting the Sky battles or ground combat, just so you can master the fundementals of each. Then combine for a fun showdown.
