Its wierd, ive had 2 360's (3 counting the elite i just bought, gave one away when i was stationed overseas) and they never had ANY hiccups, i dont doubt that it exists, but i highly doubt its as widespread as some people make it out to be. Ive had more PS2's DRE than the RROD

If you have the red rings of eath but it still works then maybe there's something wrong with the LEDs. Did it fall or did you hit it with something accidentally. If done at the right angle something small could have messed it up. MAybe it's something like that, but as long as it's working I don't really think you have much of a problem.

See with all the awesomeness of the 360 MS new that civilization would come to a halt, so they had to have a way to get you to get of your butt and go outside. RRoD is MS way of keeping the world moving.Really.
I feel the pain I have had my 360 RROD when it wasnt well known across the internet like it is now, I thought it was funny they were so willing to get it fixed asap when I told them the error code. little did I know at the time how much of a problem it would be
