MY xbox 360 and ps3 comparison. (please read.)

i hate it when people fight about which system is better now days. it used to be amusing, but it makes me bored whenever i see it now. There may be a few people that have done something like my comparison, but read mine anyways.

Start: Xbox 360 and PS3 have pretty much equal graphics, they are both tall, the 360 has rumble, the ps3 doesn't have rumble, the ps3 has tilt controlls, the 360 doesn't. basically, they are equal. stop fighting, because it makes you seem childish. even to a kid that is only 14 years old. (me) they both have their own games, it doesn't matter!!! all that happens is sombody takes time out of their own life by sitting down and pressing buttons. seriously, people say that there is a "Console War" how lame. if it was a war, there would be casualties. thank you for your time.

its a dreadful jaggy mess on the ps3.

but its own games look good but it wont ever have better graphics than the 360 due to its lesser gpu.

I own both consoles and while I just got my PS3 recently, it has already become my favorite of the two. For me the types of games that I enjoy can be found more prominantly on the PS3. I am much more excited over Heavenly Sword, Lair,Warhawk, Uncharted, GT 5, Tekken 6, UT 3, MGS 4, HAZE, Folklore and Ratchet and Clank than I am for Halo 3, Mass Effect, PGR 4, Splinter Cell Convictions, Alan Wake, Bioshock, Too Human and Fable 2. For me the PS3 is better because......

Looks better sitting in my media center

Motion sensor is better than rumble

Free online is better than $50 a year

PS3's interface is easier to move through than a bunch of blades

Using a Bluetooth Headset that I owned anyway for online communication.....Priceless!!

No Red Rings on a PS3!

Not true, they've settled with Immersion, the rumble company, and have come out to admit they could have rumble with the tilt sensing they didn't because of the lawsuit, so basically the whole 'we can't have tilt and rumble at the same time' line was a lie.

If your talking about talking with others and doing some body animations...I think Phantasy Star Univers has that. Gets booring after 20 minutes.

Not necessarily true. The cell can work in unisen with the RSX, thus rendering the cell kinda like a additional GPU. THis combined effort can create more skin like textures on characters and on buildings and other things. Thats all in theory of course.

Wow clever, the rolling of the eyes thing I mean. As if to say you think his comment was totally without merrit, although pretty much every developer who has ever worked PS3 will tell you that it will take alot longer to get the full power of a machine as complex as the PS3 as opposed to the xbox360 (which is pretty much a run of the mill PC in a box).

Yes, the 360 is maxed out.... Didn't Gears use only 40-50%...thats what I thought

but there have been casualties. peoples jobs were lost and about 30% of the xbox 360 owners suffer from RoD (i have). had nintendo focused on hardcore gamers rather than casuals, they would have gone bankrupt. sony focused to much on blu-ray than giving gamers an affordable console and they paid the consequences.

Since when does a "sausage fest" negate a games fun level? WoW is a sausage fest and many enjoy that. You think the peole on XBL aren't mostly dudes? If you're looking for females in the gaming world, then you really need to get out more. If you're looking to interact with friends then Home could be lots of fun.

Good post but no matter how hard you try fanboys will always argue about stupid things like which system is better.

It's a waste of time to try to convince them that all 3 systems have theirpros and cons.

Not sure about the Graphics, but the PS3 will Definitely have more stuff on screen.
