i guess MS heard it's gamers loud and clear when they said they want more games...more new IPs. so they're getting...quickly. with all the games already released, as well as those announced for this year, and the new upcoming ones from 343, Blacktusk, and now Leap Experience Pioneers, and the obvious E3 announcements incoming, MS seems to be all about the games and are bringing them to its consumers in bunches. there's no way cows or anyone can say MS/XB1 has no games...it has games now, as well as more coming in the near future.

anyway, what do you all think of this new upcoming IP from Leap Experience Pioneers? does it seem to have promise in ur eyes? or would you rather wait for DriveClub...oh wait, well Infamous, The order, and..um..what else is there?? O_o

Nothing of this news screams awesome. Sounds more like an indie dev jumping up and down saying "I'm here too!"

I am all for dangling carrots and building anticipation but come on...give me something to get excited about rather than a series of buzzwords.

They are basically saying....We are cool groundbreaking devs...GET EXCITED....ROBOT!! DINOSAUR!!! EXPLOSION!!!

A realistic description of what it is they have planned would be far more appealing IMO.

Oh it's AAA is it? What are they responsible for to lead us to believe this? What games have they under their belts?

Nothing in that reveal leads me to believe that this will be anything interesting. So who are they? What awards do they have?

Anyone can say they are going to make an AAA game with no experience. Yes the article says they have been around. Then include what games they have contributed too that would make me take interest in their supposed awesome title. So far they are making me think they are trying to pioneer a space cowboy game. Yawn.

Obviously you haven't read any of my posts, yet you are assigning The Order and Infamous to me. I have already stated that at this point I do not plan on getting Infamous unless they can provide a game a lot longer than 12 hours.

As far as the Order, I also have not been singing its praises. It's a wait and see for me. If it is super linear, it will not make my list, but go on boy keep up your defense of an unknown developer screaming they are going to pioneer an AAA game, with no proof to back it up.

@tymeservesfate: Well, we don't know what type of game they are working on or what they have made in the past. It's more of a wait and see at this point. I'm all for new IP's as long as they are good and take the gameplay in new directions. Gravity Rush & Tearaway are perfect examples of this.

Sony and the PS4 know all about Indie games. lol!! Microsoft said at the E3 that they would be pursueing new developer studios, so this isn't even a surprise. I'm sure we'll hear about more new 1st party studios at the E3.

LXP is mostly working on an AAA xbox exclusive game.

yea, i'm not saying or thinking this game will be great, not yet. not until i see something more of it. you just don't know with games...it could be a dud. but as of right now it's still another game to add to MS's library of games. they seem to be putting out, announcing, hinting, at them frequently. at least in comparison to Sony. who seem to only have news about game delays, or why their two games are 30fps with no multiplayer smh.

i keep hearing about Tearaway, it must be good. i think its similar to Minecraft...im guessing. it makes me think of this new game being made. its a PC multiplat but still:

Like I had originally thought. Nothing to see here. Microsoft isn't known for their first party games anyways.

Who knows though, they could screw up and make a decent game.

Microsoft also has a 1st party studio called Lift London who is showing their game off at E3. They are also in the proccess of buying Ruffian Games.

For what its worth when I played the BETA I didnt experience any screen tearing. Only very rarely did I experience frame rate drops and that was usually only when there were 3 or 4 titans exploding simultaneously on the screen. All fanboyism and nonsense aside it truly is a good game, I wouldnt pass it up regardless of the platform you choose to play it.

Doesn't matter, some XBLA games are miles better than a some Retail games. However with Rayman, you get both.
