1. Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz -Â Partly I was at fault - I didn't know they were displaying the gameplay as 'monkey balls' rather than just describe the title. Everything that made Super Monkey Ball remotely fun, tight and addictive is GONE thanks to the complication and almost-broken nature of the wiimote. Throw-away multiplayer, god-awful single player. At least it sounds and looks good. Huge downpoint for the series.
2. Simpsons Hit and Run - I tried to get into this game 3 times! I can't see how anyone can score it over 6.5. It's buggy and glitchy, the gameplay is slow, the graphics are horrid, there's a lack of variety and increase of frustration, the game has arguably the worst multiplayer I've ever played, and it's just uninspired and dull. The only thing it does nicely is the addictiveness of collecting spoils, and the recreation of the voices and original humour that Simpsons has been known for.
3. Mario Power Tennis - Although the game doesn't have a neccessarily bad multiplayer or minigames, and has some pretty effects, I'd rather take the original N64 game over the crap GC one. Shallow gameplay is ruined thanks to the cheap and utter garbage of the power/defence shots. And when you take those away you're left with a pretty bare-bones tennis experience with half the charm. Anything that resembled skill and timing in the original is gone. Another crappy Mario title for the GC.
