Call of Duty.
I've never bought or played any one of these games in my life.
Regardless of their massive popularity, I've never even had the slightest desire.
Metal gear solid
Uncharted
Battlefield except beta
Bloodborne
Assassin Creed, I haven't played Orgins or Odyssey yet.
Watch Dogs, I think I have actually not played any of those games.
Metal of Honor
Sniper Elite
The witcher series
Diablo
Have not played COD since long while. last one i liked was COD2.
Never played Final fantasy and will never in future.
Call of duty too. Havent played one since modern warfare. I could like a single player compilation though but i have 0 interest in MP. same with the other big MP games like PUBG, fortnite and so on.
none of the franchises from sony or MS. didnt bother with a PS4 or X1 this gen. i do plan to get a PS5 so will be raiding the PS4 backlog when i do.
i have actually been out of the AAA (in terms of production values) loop most of this gen. i dont think i am in their target demographic any more :P
Metal Gear (I don't like stealth or Kojima games)
Kingdom Hearts (played some of the first game, but didn't like it)
Fallout (not appealing to me)
Warcraft (I'm an Ensemble man)
FIFA (I like numerous sports, but I don't watch soccer)
Assassin's Creed (though really, most Ubisfoft IP's in general)
I haven't played a CoD or BF in over a decade.

You are missing out on odyssey, prefer it's new direction. Ended up playing the X version, the PC version sucked on my end.
Never played Ratchet and Clank or Jak and Daxter, but not sure I would call those big or popular anymore. Not really much else, actually. Unless we count like Horizon Zero Dawn, but it's not really a series with just one game.
Zelda. I recognize that I'm probably missing out, but beyond this game I have no real interest in the Switch. So I will probably never have a chance to play the games.
I also never have played games like CoD or Battlefield. In this case, I'm just a gamer who prefers singleplayer experiences.
Destiny. I would love for them to just make a single player focused story based game. It looked cool, but having to do raids all the time just to keep gear up is boring. I do that enough in FFXIV.
Nothing really to speak of, I'm more interested trying out newer franchise then avoiding them. I think the only franchise game I never bother probably would be Virtual Fighter series and this is coming from a huge fighting gamer fan for some reasons, Virtual Fighter always avoided me because it never appeal to me.
Grand Theft Auto and Battlefield (main series, that is - I did play Bad Company 2).
They just never really interested me.
I've at least played a ton, like randomly a little of Battlefield and Call of Duty in last couple months. PUBG and Destiny are biggest ones I haven't touched, hell I've even played Fallout 76 over them.
I finally started Witcher, Dark Souls, Uncharted, Kingdom Hearts, Persona, Tales of and a Rabbids game, all stuff never tried ever til this gen.
All the popular multiplayer like pubg, overwatch, fortnite etc.
Call of duty
Battlefield
Star wars
A lot more that I can't remember
loads of Japanese stuff, mostly on Nintendo since i've never owned a Nintendo system (so Mario, Zelda and lots of other stuff probably)
otherwise, JRPG stuff like Final Fantasy, Kingdom Hearts and Persona i've never touched

Do you own a switch or PS4? If not then you've missed out on alot more than that. Referring to current gen.
Final Fantasy and Metal Gear were mentioned a lot. Damn you have missed out on a lot of good games.
My thoughts, but this thread wasn't made to criticize or judge.
It's all Just sharing.
Also this gives us a better understanding of the people we're debating with and weather we need to bother debating at all.
