It has online, but I never use it. You have to use Friend Codes to go to other peoples towns, its kinda cool but you don't need to use it.

The DS has so many good games its hard to make a decision.

Pokemon Diamond/Pearl - Really worht your money and if you can play online then expect to be playing this game for years.

Mario Kart - With online, I highly doubt you can resist this game.

Elite Beat Agents - Need more to say?

Metroid Prime: Hunters - It's only good if you can play online

As for RPG games, there is Final Fantasy III, and Lunar Knights.
