Anyone else getting or got these two games?
Ive been playing Napoleon Total War most the day today and its simply amazing.

I also ahve Heavy Rain in the mail on its way here (should be here 2morrow or thursday at latest).

I loved the demo of Heavy Rain and it looks to be a great game, along with Napoleon beign better then I expected

Two fantastic games this week!!! Add these two games to the likes of ME2 and this is a fantastic start to 2010!

Not to mention there are alot more games coming soon! Battlefiend BC2, Dragon Age expansion, FF13, Metro 2033, Dawn Of Discovery expansion, Dawn Of War2 expansion, Supreme Commander 2 and more.

Great time to be a owner of multiple systems I must say 8)

If you have either or both of these days.. how are you enjoying them?

Good stuff!

They really improved alot of things in Napoleon over Empires.

im about 45 minutes into heavy rain. i had the funniest glitch in the kitchen and the game froze. thr main character shrunk down real tiny like he was off in the distance when walking around a chair then shot forward and the game froze. i had a laugh and reset my ps3.

so far though im enjoying it, the dialogue in some spots sounds rushed but not generally enough to take you out of the game.

I'm going to buy Napoleon once I play Empire a little longer than I have.

As for Heavy Rain, I don't have a PS3 yet. Once I get one, I'll be getting Heavy Rain first.

They improved everything in Napoleon.. the AI is better, the world map is hugely improved, the graphics better, its optimized better, the online has much more options this time, the battles more epic and the soundtrack is far better then Empire.

Not to mention there is aa story this time and feels quite cinematic.

Its not the same as Empire at all

Im actually very surprised with what they have done. Sure its like a stand alone expansion pack... but everything seems slightly better this time around.

I wasnt expecting these many improvements

I'll eventually get Napoleon: Total War on steam. I don't have a PS3 but probably wouldn't get Heavy Rain anyway.

Don't have Total War, but Heavy Rain is one of the best games I have played in quite sometime. It is a bit different than other games out there, but after I picked it up, it was very hard to put down again, since you want to see how your actions affect you later in the story.

I never played anTotal Wargame before looks cool though. As for Heavy Rain I picked it up today. I'm enjoying it so far besides the first three hours being boring as hell.

Hehehe, I got it on steam bud, its great fun, stoked about the improvements they made over Empire.

I dont think its just amazon that is taking awhile for Napoleon.. a buddy of mien went to go pick up his preordered copy at eb games and they said they didnt get it in, maybe not till friday :(

This is a time when steam comes in handy for me.. on a game that I REALLY want rigth away hehe.

Anyways, hope you enjoy it bud! Add me to xfire or steam if you want to do some games online (the drop in campaign multiplayer is hilarious hehe).

Here are a few screenshots I took and uploaded for the PC screenshot thread http://www.gamespot.com/pages/forums/show_msgs.php?topic_id=26452629&page=161

I passed on Empire:Total War. My copy of the Imperial Edition of Napoleon Total War should come soon enough in the UK to Australia snail-mail... but I got it at a price cheaper that it is on Steam at the moment.

Basically its a more polished version of Empire, everything seems a little better to me personally. Empire is a bit larger in scope and bigger world map.. but everything else Napoleon has the advantage imo (:

Personally I am waiting for my order of The Void, and picking up Heavy Rain tomorrow, perhaps Sins of a Solar Empire Trinity and Stalker CoP with it.

No Total War though, its currently alongside Bioshock 2 in 'games I might buy in the near future' pile. Which I am sure will stack as more relases keep coming. Which is a shame.

So that bug-ridden mess called E:TW was basically a beta version of this?

Got them both pre ordered, they should come through my letter box anytime from now till Friday, I'm kind of hoping that Amazon sends them seperately so I don't have to them ages deciding which to play first.
