Naruto Broken Bond vs. Ninja Storm

I just played the Broken Bond demo and I must say I'm very impressed. Just as impressed when I first played the Ninja Storm demo.

Broken Bond: the platforming has improved, like the mini running game & tree jumping. And the fighting is way more fun now you control 3 fighters.

Ninja Storm: i like the fighting in this game more than in broken bonds, way more! I can't say much about the platforming because I haven't played it yet but I don't think it will be better than BB.

I just wish they could combine both games together in 1 Ultimate Naruto game based on the first 135 Episodes. Let Ubisoft make the platforming and let Bandai/Namco make the fighting.

I don't watch Naruto, but Ninja Blade looks like a complete POS so Naruto has to be better.Timstuff

Yeah UNS wins in my book too. Naruto is ment to be a fighting game more than a platformer/rpg/whatever type of game they make about the franchise.

But after playing the BB demo I just start to wonder if I should pick that one up as well.

I realize people like over the top, button mashing action. If you like that go with NS. If you prefer less button mashing, actually doing the jutsu and seeing the jutsu being just like teh anime pick BB.too_much_eslim

Ubisoft games seems more true to the anime in that sense imo. I will be getting both So i don't see what teh problems is with my claim.

But one more big plus for BB is that they use the original music from the show. Most Naruto fans will apreciate that.

BTW, to people livin in the USA, how far is Naruto on TV? The sooner Shippuuden begins there the sooner those Shippuuden video games are gonna come. Because I hope these will be the last Naruto video games with him being so young.

This is what I got based off reading IGN review. I don't know if you played ROAN, but you will see the difference.

ALso I don't really watch the US shows, but i think it is about 30 or 40 episodes away from Shippuuden.

The episode situation inn the U.S. is going through all kinds of hell right now. Cartoon Network cancelled the cartoon block that was showing Naruto at 2 episodes a week to catch and are now showing an episode every few weeks (the U.S is about 30 episodes before Shippuden starts).

I have no idea what this means for Shippuden actually airing here in the U.S. I only care because of the video games since I read the Japanese Manga and watch subs.

There are certain things I don't like in BB too though. For instance with Shikamaru they didn't do his shadow clone jutsu right. Instead of having both characters move the other character is frozen as He is able to come in and beat on you. I can't comment if this amount of stuff goes on with the other characters, but that is the only problem I have seen with BB based on the demo. oh ALso Sakura should have inner sakura. SHe is just such a useless character. Don't know why they gave her healing palm when she hasn't learned it yet.

You're right about that over the top action on the ps2. UNS is nothing compared to those partner attacks in Accel 2.

I don't follow the USA eps but I do know that the moment it got aired all the english naruto games were produced, so if we need to wait like 30 weeks until Shippuuden & then another 20 weeks just to have a Shippuuden game. 1 Week = 1 Episode.

I guess around this time next year :P or if we're very unlucky 2 years.

Broken Bond simply because its an adventure game.

UNS is still awesome though but i can see myself getting way more out of BB

dude, i could not agree with you more. Ubisoft sucks, I have never enjoyed any Ubisoft game. Splinter Cell, EndWar, BiA, Far Cry, Assassins Creed, GRAW, etc are all crap, and yes I have played these games I just mentioned. I dont understand how anyone can compare BB to UNS, anyway, its all a matter of opinion. in terms, of gameplay, graphics, presentation, UNS destroys BB. but thats just my opinion.

dude, i could not agree with you more. Ubisoft sucks, I have never enjoyed any Ubisoft game. Well I havent got to play the BB demo because im silver at the moment. I tried to activate my 48hr gold memebership,but my 360 decided to say screw you and take the code,but not give me gold. ROAN left a real bad taste in my mouth in the figthing area. All I have to say is that BB looks to have the same fighting macanics which is not a good sign for me since i really disliked ROAN fighting. A game can have depth and online but that doesint mean anything if the game is broken on and offline. THats the way I felt about ROAN. When I get my hands on the BB demo ill give my thoughts on it.finalfantasy94

However if anybody is looking just for a pure fighter then NS is the way to go. Ubisoft is making strides with their fighting engine which feels much better than before.

Note:ALso the demo isn't a huge representation of all the moves for the final build. They didn't implement a lot of the stuff in the demo because Naruto hasn't learned this stuff yet. Them demo is basically story driven.

I really loved the adventuring/rpg-lite aspects of Rise of a Ninja. Felt alot like Crackdown. The real strength of RoaN was that the village was itself a character of the game. Clearly the focus was mostly on adventure-type game mechanics.
