it might even encourage naruto fans to stick around for Rise of a ninja 2...probably gonna be better;)LinKuei_warriorwouldn't it be called something else >_>
Off topic, but I wish a US developer would make a Evangelion fight. The show is like 50% drama and 50% robot monsters in squad based combat running around a city, destroying buildings while ripping each other limb from limb with their hands, 50 ft knifes and 200 ft shotguns, and exploding into massive explosion.... yet the jpn always make it into a dating sim.
3rd person, squad based combat with online teams is the only way a US (or just non-jpn) would look at that, yet we've got like 20 dating sim versions.
Best Naruto game ever? Ha. That's laughable--even more when it's coming from someone who only pointed out NUN2.
I can easily acknowledge that ROAN is a really good Naruto game. But I really don't like the fact that alot of reviewers opinons have mislead people to actually believe that this the first and only good "Naruto" game--when in actuality, there has been three "great" Naruto games(NGNT4, NH3, NA), that have yet to make their way outside of Japan(two of them might not ever make it).
It's understable that both(some reviewers and ROAN fans) might not be big on importing, but that should also make some of them think twice about speaking on the Naruto gaming series as a whole based off a first real next gen attempt at a Naruto game that isn't even centered fully around the latest events of the show itself(IMO, that alone makes it a inferior game to most of the others, because I value up-to-date fan service greatly).
ROAN platforming aspects are really enjoyable, but similar ones can be found in NH3--in my opinion(yes I will keep saying it to shield myself from ignorance) it's actually alot more enjoyable in that game with a much greater length and variety of things to do.
What I love about ROAN the most, is that the fighting system is so similar to the one I found in NGNT4(only alot more flawed and broken). I personally feel that NGNT4 is a supeior game in many ways that matters most to me overall--characters felt more unique and diverse, it flows alot smoother, 100% authentic voice overs, vastly larger character roster and amount of stages, tag team(many options for it), and the addicting y-cancel-in's, which surprsingly gives it more replayability then any Naruto game ever released before ROAN.
As for the upcoming Naruto "PS3" project, I trust them to make a superior Naruto game, simply because CC has alot more experience making them and I have yet to find myself disappointed with any Naruto installment that came from them. There are also a few other blatantly obvious and logical reasons as well, but im way to lazy to continue.

False. This is the best anime game ever.

lol I had that game. That game with the penguin was fun. I think that game was kind of lacking when it comes to types of digimon. Not to mention your digimon would die after 30 days.

To me that's the only thing that stopped this game from being one of the greatest of all-time.
This is the best anime game released in America, however some Japanese anime games are better. In a strange way I notice it appeals to non-naruto fans more than naruto fans because the game leaves a lot out story wise, so a lot of naruto fans may be dissapointed.
Overall it still is an amazing game, (but then again the Budokai/Budokai Tenkaichi games may be tied with it for best anime game)
