No reason for cows to be skeptical. Microsoft already has their strategy against the PS3, lessen the gap in third party support and provide more online content. Natal specifically targets Wii's demographic.

You're not going to play Gears of war 3 with it. MS is going to release a SKU with the camera and their version of "wii play" probably at a price just below the Wiis'.

Um no what MS showed for it today looked like shovelware. Face it gimmicks are gimmicks even if their rehashed Eyetoy gimmicks case in point. http://www.toxicjunction.com/get.asp?i=V1267Hmm but I thought MS said their idea was unique that they were the innovators I guess not.

You have to give them time to bring out the games for it to give it a fair chance. It can't be any worse than the sixaxis controller.

For family games, yes, but not for the more serious genres. The 360 still lacks decent FPS controls, though it now has a solutionfor mini games.

So what if the tech destroys it, tell me how many proper games can use this? Fighting games is about it, the racing game they showed looked so awkward, and wouldn't work for a full game, a few sport games, but they'd have to be super simplified. And lets not ignore the fact that you'd need your 360 to be in a pretty big room to actually be able to use it.

Head tracking on a stationary TV? :?

I'd love to see it. You could set it up at a booth for something like E-3 as a practical joke. The videos would be epic.
