Natal V.S. Wii confusion

While engaging some of my friends in a rather flamboyant 360 vs. PS3 argument, one of my friends suddenly brought up- "Hey- there's one thing we can agree on- the Wii is S**T." Being a nintendo fanboy since birth, I obviously retorted, "what's wrong with the wii? While not as many as the PS3, it still has many great games. you probably just never played them." My other friend, who's a 360 fanboy, said "yeah, maybe it would except the controls are gimmicky as balls." I simply smiled and retorted, "Well, have fun with NATAL, then." He then said, "shut up man, NATAL is going to be AMAZING.

This is what I don't understand- why do 360 and PS3 fanboys who hate on the Wii simply love the idea of natal and think it's going to have much better games than the wii?

All you 360 and PS3 lovers out there answer me, as well as wii owners who think it's gonna be sweet. tell me- am I missing something? Who agrees with me that either Wii>NATAL, or that they both are way too gimmicky.

(Oh yeah, I have both a Wii and a PS3 and I love them both.)

I'm interested in NATAL but until MS shows me something its just hype. Atleast with the Wii (as much as SW disagrees) I've been convinced it was worthwhile and has good games. As for people interested, I assume they think MS and Sony have hardcore games in the works for them. I personally really doubt this but I'd love to be wrong.

I haven't tried Natal, so I can't answer. From what I've seen, Natal looks to be amazing technology. Not sure how that will translate to games, but I can't wait to try it. I also enjoy the Wii, just not as much as 360 and PS3.

I haven't tried Natal, so I can't answer. From what I've seen, Natal looks to be amazing technology. Not sure how that will translate to games, but I can't wait to try it. I also enjoy the Wii, just not as much as 360 and PS3.

^This so can we shut up. People thought that the wii is going to be crap without even trying it. Some of those same people are eating their words while some stick by them. Can't we at least wait until they have public Ball-on-a-stick/Natal demos before we label them as fail?
