I think some of the greatest characters have been villains from PS3 exclusives

like Stahl from KZ3. he is such a unique, fun villain

and he is played by the legendary Malcom Mcdowell (my favorite actor of all time)

another great villain is Bohan from heavenly sword. I almost found myself rooting for him. he is so delightfully evil

I don't know man, he's half and half.

One half of him is clumsy and makes cheesy Spider-Man jokes and is apparently kind of fat (by Hollywood standards I guess, and according to Flynn and Chloe and Elena)

The other half of him murders with his bare hands and weapons more trained mercenaries in 5 minutes then Solid Snake in his entire career, all in between hot girl love sessions and stealing priceless artifacts with ease for wealth.

But, Kratos can do that minus the hair gel and quips. Though again, to be fair it might be because Kratos has prematurely balded, so that's a knock off the cool points.

Wow, deciding who is the coolest character this gen is kind of tough, so I'll just say its me in Fallout and Mass Effect. But then again, its not fair and I tend to make some mistakes and clumsy combat decisions so... eh.

I dont know. he seemed a bit too nationalistic and easily flustered. he seems like a pawn.

stahl is almost like if the joker was a bureaucrat. he has so much fun manipulating people and causing chaos. and you never know what he is going to do. he really has no regard for anyone, whether its his own people or the ISA. he doesnt seem to want power for normal reasons. he seems to want it, because of the thrill and nothing more.

and once he gets shafted, he responds by utterly destroying his own fleet. that takes balls. also I love his monologue when he is talking about killing everyone on earth.
