Naughty Dog talks Jak and Daxter for PS3

Was only time till this series comes back to PS3 seeing how both Ratchet and Clank and Sly Cooper made it to PS3, Naughty Dog in an interview by GamerInformer when talk to ND's co-president, Evan Wells, he hinted at Jak&Daxter game knowing there is a huge demand for it to be back and their aware of it saying:

"What I hear a lot recently [from fans] is to make another Jak & Daxter game. My answer always is we'd love to do it, there's a lot of love for the franchise and it has a special place in our hearts for sure, but we're sort of heads down, working on one game at a time now and are focusing on Uncharted, but we'd love to go back to it at some point."

Jak 2 and 3 were among my all time Ps2 favorites. I would buy a Ps3 for Jak 4. I'd also hype it AAAA

But they WILL make a J&D for the PS4.It's inevitable. Uncharted has to finish its reign on the PS3 first however.

Well, hopefully they will make another Jack and daxter game. I'd buy it.

They are also working on the PSP game as well.

That would be awesome if they made a new Jak and Daxter game. I would pick it up in a heartbeat.

Thye also said that in an interview for GS back in E3. I really hope so. J&D was my favorite franchise for the PS3.

I'd say the main difference between now and then though is that Uncharted is now a trilogy. Before, I believe their crew also didn't want to make another J&D as well. Tired of designing J&D-like characters or something like that. They wanted something more realistic. 4 years later, that could have changed. Uncharted has ran it's course, for now, with 3 games. Fans want Jak and Daxter, and if it is as ND says, they are interested too.

i really hope they try for a jak 4 or a HD port of 1,2, and 3 i prefer jak and daxter over sly and ratchet and clank after having played all three i still say jak and daxter was the most fun title and if they do decide to just make a new one for ps3 i hope its a good as the 1st one cause the second and third i didnt much care for. Nonetheless amazing news beggers cant be choosers :P!

ND already said uncharted isnt a trilogy with them saying they still want to make more UC games on the ps3...but i can see them take a break from UC for a few years

That's a good point, I really hope they follow through on this.I've been waiting for a new Jak game for a loooooooooong time.

Hopefully they don't do what they did the past two gens and release an Uncharted racing game

I just want an HD jak collection. never played any of the jak games :(

Jak and Daxter was a much better game imo, and the games that were like it from the ps2 era are kinda dead also :(

I hope ND makes it though. Their artistic design with their technical abilities will make a gorgeous looking game. I miss the old games. I overplayed those so much :P

If they give us another game on the Vita, wow, that will be a glorious day. It was easily one of the best IPs of all time. I'd go as far to say that Jak and Daxter was the best trilogy from last generation.

After Uncharted 3 they'll make a game where Drake will have to enter a Race around the World in order for him to get a Famed Item of Some Famous Explorer. (aka Uncharted Racing!)

I've not been interested in Jak and Daxter since the first one which was the only actual good one.

Much rather have them buy back the rights to Crash Bandicoot and develop a proper game.

At the very least a HD Trilogy collection would go down a treat.Yo-gan
