NBA Live 10 owns NBA 2k10 this year.. NBA 2k10 pales in comparison

I must say that I do own both games.. NBA 2k10 for the PS3 and NBA Live 10 on the 360 and NBA Live 10 owns this year! NBA 2k10 lags horribly when playing online and the character model on 2k10 look like PS2 graphics when playing online, NBA live 10 gameplay is fun, a lot less frustrating and overall a lot more accessible and i think it looks better graphically also. Its safe to say that NBA Live 10 takes the crown this year

NBA 2K10 still blows Live away.....2K10 does have some bugs, networking issues and framerate issues though, but supposedly they're working on a patch to fix all of this according to the developer comments on the 2K boards.

Agreed! This is coming from someone who supported 2K over Live in the past years.

2K10 moves too slow and the online is just buggy/laggy on both systems. Live 10 offers the best seamless online experience I have seen in a B-ball game(if your connection is great).

For all you you thinking Live is too easy because it is a dunkfest, you are terribly mistaken. It is challenging to drive to the lane, and alot of times a center or power foward will stop you in your tracks.

Not to mention Live 10 is more fun to boot. You can have a decent outside shooting game if you play right.

Live has to RE-DO itself....because the other iterations have been TERRIBLE unlike 2K. Dont fix what isnt broken.

2K9 was a dunk-fest and the outside shooting was not up to snuff. You cant hit fadeaways with Kobe in 2K but you can do it in Live, just like he does on the court.

2K10 tried to reduce it by adding a turbo meter. If a baller steals the ball they will race down the court and score, 2K10 has this meter and by the time you are at the end you are slow and the D catches up to you. 2K10 is way too slow.

I own 2K10. I simply moved the game speed slider up from 50 to 57 and its absolutely perfect.

NBA 2k10 is killing live again this year... Its a dunkfest if you play on rookie or play someone who sucks. I never noticed any lag in the paint and im playing on ps3. I only play of hall of fame or superstar and its very realistic. On Live everyone moves the same... Kobe Bryant moves just like Dwight Howard just faster with better dribbling skills. Live stepped it up but it still is easy and to fast. I dont have any of the problems some of you say you have with 2k10except online play sucks but i play with friends anyway.

Live is terrible. Hasnt been good since Live 95 for the SNES. 2k10 is awesome and plays awesome as well. As far as the bugs go, they are releasing a patch by weeks end, so no worries. Maybe next year Live lol

Wow, how are you going to talk about NBA 2K games and not NBA Live games being glitchy!!!!

NBA Live games are always the glitch of the year for video games.

Their games a couple of years ago (when I had the PS2) made it look like the players were floating on ice when they moved!!!

no way. 2k still plays wayyyy better. its much more of a basketball sim. as where live just seems too arcading for my tastes. but ill go with the reviews and my own play experiences.
