i have both ps3 and 360 and was wondering mainly if 2k8 is better for ps3 or 360, i figured 360 since it had a head start with being out a year longer and it had 2k6, where ps3 didnt. also i always seen madden as a ps game ever since i had madden 99 for ps1, i never played any xbox versions, so how does it compare are they exactly the same with just slightly dif controls. thanks.

Go with the 360. I think from here on out MS need all the support it can get. Did you hear about the iMac sales this christmas? Wow...

Lawls. Vista strikes again.

Unlike Vista, 360 is a great product, and Madden 2008 was better on the 360. As far as NBA 2k8....play the demo for both, see which one you prefer. Performance was solid on the demo I played, but if the 360's is better, might as well get that.

I will vouch for no sports game on the PS3.

I don't know about NBA 2K8, so you'll need to look it up. As for Madden, get 360. It has a twice as fast a framerate as the PS3 version.

Unrelated: never support Microsoft. As far as I'm concerned they are a vermin on the OS market and I absolutely despise their obscene marketing of products that could just as well be free (see a Linux office suite for reference....all-inclusive, all-free).

Same goes for Apple. Never support those two companies, they're both pro-closed platform and sucking the entire market dry with their non-intuitive bullcrap.

Plus, Vista's DX10 performance has been a HUGE step backwards for the entire industry from which I think it will never recover.

Well, my girlfriend got me my iMac for Xmas, and happy to say I love it. I don't think Apple is trying to close off Linux from doing what they do. MS is the one that is suing them.

Yeah, I've been thinking about getting an Apple. Do you find yourself keeping a PC around for all the NON-Apple support...or are you going full on APPLE?

I still have the PC I built in the family room. My iMac is in my Office room. I really don't know. I might go full Apple.

You won't regret it when you make the purchase (Mr. Moneybags), but when you realize that you can't actually update the hardware you'll be crying.
