PSP or DS, and why?

Don't talk about 3DS, I will get it when it comes out.

Seriously, just wait for the 3DS to release in a couple of months, dont waste your money, it can play all the DS and DSi games as well as the new 3DS games as well. But if you DO have money to burn, I'd recommend getting the DSi, since its a well rounded handheld with all the power of the DS's massive library backing it up.

Honestly... It would be better for you to wait on the 3DS... unless you want to spend $130 so you can later on buy a 3DS.

If your gunna get the 3DS right away then go with the PSP even though the DS is better, because the 3DS will be BC so you can play all those DS games you missed and I'm sure they will be alot cheaper to. :)

That's actually a pretty good idea.

I'd choose the DS over the PSP any day, but if you're getting the 3DS anyways then this is best. You can play a few games on the PSP, and then when the 3DS comes out you'll have access to the DS and 3DS library.

Unless Sony confirms that the PSP2 will have BC, get a cheap lite while you wait for the 3DS.

I'd recommend getting a DS Lite on the cheap. You get the entire DS library, and compatibility with GBA games.

I would get a used PSP for now. It's not hard to pick one up for under $100, and it will play UMDs which I have doubts its successor will be capable of doing.

Since you already plan on getting a 3DS, I would get the PSP. The 3DS will be backwards compatible with DS games.

If you are getting a 3DS anyway the get a PSP it got a great library of games and it will be useful even after you buy 3DS while if you buy a DS you won't touch it after getting a 3DS.

If you really want to get a handheld system now then get the PSP. You can play DS games on the 3DS.
