Need for Speed- is it dying?

Need for Speed , as soon as it came out with a new game for my console, was a definite buy. However, after a while, they are not getting any better really, and the latest game, Pro Street, was a definitley not worth it. Is the franchise dying, or just need a better addition?

nfs hot pursuit 2 on ps2 was the pinacle of that franchises sucess...it all went downhill from there unbderground being the worst of the sequalsanman4707

Hopefully it is. Or hopefully they completely give it a overhaul for the next game for the better.

Oh and bring back a story.

It's sucks so much nowadays...

Most Wanted was great...the others ones werent that much to brag about

Edit: i meant the others as in underground/carbon and others of that style
