Need For Speed Shift deserves a nod graphics-wise (possible 56K)

I'm not that much of a graphics whore, and I know GT5 is what almost everyone's hyping in terms of photorealistic driving, but after seeing a couple of trailers for NFS:S, I cant help but think GT5 may have some stiff competition in the graphical spectrum of racing. What do the rest of you think?

Best looking racer so far...Well see what place it's in a few days..I think FM is going to shock everyone...

The lighting and detail in GT is way better.

NFS Shift looks really good, but GT5 will obviously look better. Hell even GT5 Prologue looks better lol

Shift does look good. Say what you will about EA, graphics wise they usually do some great things. Gameplay doesn't always hold up, but that is for a different topic.

Shift is as good as, and in some ways better than, GT5. I have played GT5:P and it is hard to tell the differences (going only by screenshots) between the two games. Although, I would have to give the edge to Shift because it clearly has damage modeling, something GT5:P does not.

Of course, all this is assuming those screens of Shift are from one of the console versions of the game and not the PC version.

I know i'll need a flame-shield, but i'm calling bullshots on the GT5 pictures. The game looks awesome, definately, but every screen i see of it is just ridiculous. I didn't know the PS3 was capable of 12xAA. Ninja-Hippo

Ah, yeah it looks OK I guess, but GT5 will surpass it I'd say. Plus graphics don't mean crap if the game sucks.
