this is the wrong place to be looking for well thought out, intellectual commentary. IMHO, its too early. besides, after Halo 3, what do lemmings have to look forward too? with a possible price drop, and a bunch of good titles comming out in the near to mid future, i think the PS3 will end up on top again, its just not going ot be the landslide it was last gen.

You should write a very very short essay  dude cause it's simple.

There cannot be declaired a clear winner or loser this early in the competition. Simple.
The PS3, when compared to PS1 and PS2 is on a fine path.

And should also be noted just as an example that the VHS vs Beta war took over a year to decide a winner so being that the PS3 is a heavy push for Blu Ray, that factor alone shows there's no way they lost this early. Anyone who thinks they lost this early doesn't know a thing about business and should never run one....
