Neir vs Scalebound - which will be better?

I'm putting my money on Neir. Not so sure I'm digging the character from Scalebound. Reminds me of a DmC situation. What say you, SW? What is your verdict?

Neir is SP and Scalebound is MP game? Then i go for Neir for sure.

Originally I would have said Scalebound, but after the awful e3 showing I'll now say Neir.

Nier, because that kind of game is what Platinum does best.

Wasnt SB that 4player game you could ride and fight with a dragon...?

Both will be amazing for what they try to do.

Haven't seen anything on the new Nier and have no interest since the first game was so awful. Scalebound hasn't looked good either but I'd be willing to give that one a shot

More interested in Scalebound because it looks more ambitious, and it's a Kamiya-run gig.

Yep, one poor coop showing isn't going to turn me off.

Either way it's Platinum, I want both.

No it had a better showing, some dull environments aside, Nier looks like something that fits platinum's wheel house, and the combat animations are tight as ****. It was one of the better showings at E3 for anyone well versed in that genre, much less Platinum games.

I want both so I can't decide.

More excited for Nier. The original was already an amazing experience despite its flaws, which Platinum's involvement should more than address.

Oh yeah...there is co-op ( I think 4 player? ) but you can go it alone as well. We need to play some co-op when it comes out :)

Yes! I think there may be content that requires more than 1 to take on, not sure though. Regardless, we must play.

Haven't been keeping up on Neir, but the E3 Scalebound showing was underwhelming. I'm still hoping for a good game out of Scalebound. I want to see what Neir is bringing to the table before saying which one will be better.

If I could enjoy old DMC games and the new one than that character isn't going to stop me. You could have been transparent and just made the thread what are you, a cow or a lem? Also it is spelled NIER, not neir

Well it notes a "4 player co-op mode"...here is a Q/A from the dev on that subject.

Is the co-op play just going to be for boss fights, or will we be able to play the entire campaign with one or more friends?

Kamiya: In the trailer, once you are deep in the dungeon and facing off against a huge monster, your compatriots show up; however, the point of that wasn’t to say that you can only join up with them when facing off against a boss like that. We aren’t sharing all the details of multiplayer yet, but we want people to be able to have fun adventuring together. That is how we are approaching multiplayer.
