A pointless thread. Why are you bringing up other games that have nothing to do with GTA IV?

I think it will alright. They're not gonna release a crappy GTA game because they don't want to spoil the chance of the series continuing to be huge, hence the reason for the delay.

you should be worried about the game getting over-hyped. Too much talk about GTAIV I'm seeing, you guys are seriously over-hyping this game, and setting yourself up to be disappointed when it fails to meet your expectations.

don't you mean both versions taking advantage of the 360 and ps3 hardware? like what Capcom is doing with DMC4

Because Im asking why would it be logical for R* to slack on the PS3 version when the next 2 games will most likely use the same engine. So once again why would the PS3 version be lesser than the 360 version when R* has big things planned for the PS3 in the future.

So essentially it does apply to GTA.

A little worried because of the 50 million dollar advance just for DLC , maybe part of that came with an agreement of making sure the 360 had the superior version of the two. Conspiracy conspiracy.

I have no idea. I remember reading somewhere that separate teams are working on both versions of the game, to get development done quicker.

But I could be wrong, and R* have been secretive about development of this title.

I'm a bit nervous that they are only showing the 360 version. I mean, what are they trying to hide?

btw, I'm not too concerned about the exclusive content. I tend to tire of gta games if I play them too much. It would be nice to have the option I admit, but there should be several gta games released this gen so I dont sweat it too much.

BOTTOM LINE THOUGH: If the 360 version is better then so what? I'm still going to enjoy the game. If the game lags more or has more pop up I wont be crying that I dont have the 360 version or whatever. Any differences are not going to be a huge deal

didnt rockstar say they had a team from MS and sony working on the game there?, either way im getting it for ps3 mainly and prob get the 360 version a little later for achievs and the extra content, and no im not worried about it
