Never-on-PS4 Game, Cuphead Has Sold 1 Million Copies

Since its release at the end of September, over 1 million people have made a deal with the Devil

Hello friends! Cuphead has only been out for two weeks and we never could have dreamed of the reception we’ve received from our amazing fans! Today, we wanted to take a moment to thank each and every one of you for your support and we’re excited to share that Cuphead has gone platinum with over 1 million units sold!

Also of interest, according to SteamSpy, there are ~500K owners of the Steam version, which leaves you to wonder how the Xbox Console Exclusive faired on other platforms

Great news for the 2D genre and I hope they start working on a sequel soon, lot more stuff they could do.

Steam is around 570k, but also game is available on GOG and W10 Store. So what remains for Xbone? Let's see.....maybe 400k.

If I was a PS4 owner id be hella pissed this game is everywhere

So glad it sold well on the pc, it's one of my favorite games this year. Been having fun bouncing back and forth from steam dig 2 ( switch version ) and cuphead these last few weeks

Dont get me started. Btw Cuphead is brilliant game and wish it was on the 4.

But to use pc sales and state never on ps4 is just a new low for lems. There company is too afraid to accounce clear numbers nowadays so lem will always have a slick way to spin something.

Cuphead one of my best experiences in 2017

I'm so glad Cuphead has surpass over 1 million sold and a huge congrats to Studio MDHR. I'm really enjoying the game on PC and since I love watching old school cartoons growing up in the 90's, there's a lot of reference cartoons I took the liberty of naming them so yeah, I enjoy that part. Cuphead is definitely gonna win Indies game of the year awards!

Also the game is localized only in English so far which I'm sure keeping a lot on non English reading PC gamers from playing.

game turned out much better than i thought. like i almost impulse bought it like 5 times.

but from what i seen it will frustrate me. another game that i really liked that did that is shovel knight. these games are so cheap with deaths. back in the NES days it was new and stuff but now a days with all the hand holding i can't go back to pulling my hair out again.

You don't own a Windows PC? Game doesn't require hi end HW.

I do but I like to support Linux gaming so I buy all games that are available on Linux for Linux

The game has sold 1M copies. On steam,there's over 600k owners of the game so unless I'm missing something very obvious here,the game has so far sold better on PC.
