Nevermind hardware....WHY ISNT SOFTWARE SELLING ON THE PS3?

The PS3 has exactly 0 third party million selling games... and 0 games in the top 20 in the June NDP... yes count em again... 0.

This problem is ... perhaps even more serious than PS3's poor showing on the hardware front.

With the PS3's supposed hardcore fanbase (who supposedly buy the most games)... why is it that software is selling so much better on the Wii... which boasts 4 of the top10 titles on June NPD.

Don't bother offering the excuse that it's because of Nintendo's first party dominance as RE4 Wii edition just broke the top ten this month and the Wii already has 2 third party million sellers (Rayman/Red Steel).

to be honest there really arent that many great games on the ps3 at the moment. Its the sole reason i havent got one yet.Will all change come next year though me thinks.jt8b2z

But, Lair looks more promising than it did last year.. HS looks incredible, and R&C, well who doesn't love those 2 lugnuts.

Anyways, as of now, it sucks. Later in the year? I think I'm going to go broke

Oh, no, they're both abysmal right now.

But, the PS3 will snatch in the good games in 1 or 2 months. Thats good!

The PS3 is in process of getting possibly the best games in the business at the end of this year and beginning of 2008 so don't worry, you'll see when PS3 starts getting these games people will rush out to buy a PS3..

the only good game on the wii right now is resi 4, and i already have that on my gamecube. Zelda flopped.

even now the ps3 has a better library of games than the wii. The majority like variety games. Honestly if wii-fit outsells mass effector mgs4 *shakes fist

2 of those AAA games were out on PC and 360 before it came to ps3 and the 3rd one is a remake of a xbox port. ;)

i played sigma and black is to what re4 gamecube is to ps2 version with the exceptional of making from the ground up for the ps3. still a good game.

The PS3 is in process of getting possibly the best games in the business at the end of this year and beginning of 2008 so don't worry, you'll see when PS3 starts getting these games people will rush out to buy a PS3..

they are playing games like forza 2,dead rising,dirt,overlord etc whiles waiting for "more" great game.but cows fold and wait for games on their ps3:lol:

and i expect alot of it has to do with the paltry userbase at the moment. When there are around 10 million + units in homes and some real great exclusives then maybe we can talk, until then it is unfair to make a judgement
