Personally, I don't care much for either. I prefer games that are somewhat different, like LBP, N&B, Mirror's Edge, L4D, and so on.

i know his game. BSO comes into any PS3 thread and starts stuff intentionally. Personally, i want GEARS to stay macho, if they don't pull off this romantic stuff just right the story wont improve.

HONESTLY... do people really believe smoke and blur are graphical effects used to hide textures??? And how can you tell about the textures from the super low quality vids???

yea, apparently, adding a massive amount of particle effects is less taxing and easier to do then bumping up texture resolution. :|

that's like putting a warthog in front of a building to cover up the walls texture.

the game is balanced between resolution and draw distance, i.e, scale. I'm not worried about that. I am worried about how much fun the SP is... from what I have seen the co-op, it has that on lock.

so much games to play soon... how am I going to play them all :?

I have seen enough and I hope they don't show anything else new from now until launch. I wan't to be surprised.

I don't know what R1 scored on Gamespot (I can care less about Gamespot rating) but, It scored a 9.0 on IGN. I see R2 getting a 9.2-9.4

looks good, i hope they fix iron sight and sniper zoom though i mean sniper zoom in R1 was like 100000000x or something and if you used iron sight then you would also notice huge zoom, also switching to iron sight or sniper is way too fast, its like as soon you press the button your sight changes, should be like cod4 where if you use sniper zoom it shows the character bringing sniper up to his eyemingo123

LOL a grenade in real life exploding next to someone would disfigure ur ass take off arm/legs/head some crap a chunk of meat out of ur body lol plus the sharpnel would mess **** up even more.

on the resistance video i seen the dude throw a grenade into a stack of bodies and they just flew up in the air with ragdoll physics...that remined me that sucks it doesnt blow up people into guts.

I'm going through Resistance right now, and I can already tell that they made the guns MUCH better, just from the sound and the crosshair, I'm lovin it.

The co-op will be great, and I may do the multiplayer for a bit. I swear, if PSN multiplayer actually ropes me in from live, I'll be empressed.

Wow that looks amazing, its good enough to be compared to gears 2. In some areas it even does better.

It looks like they have kept that atmospehere of chaos. In the forst game you always felt that you were going to lose, all your allies would just die in seconds lesaving you and it was amazing. That first mission where you fight the chimera up high in the building, the first time I did it all my allies died and I was like WTF!

oh and that bit 4 legged thing is awsome. :)

Wow the graphics are awesome! The forest looks so real. The water looks amazing.

(I don't have an hdtv yet, didn't know I was missing out on so much.)

Looks on par with Halo 3 (both graphically and gameplay wise) -- which isn't saying much at all.

EDIT: ok well it looks much better than Halo 3 graphically but otherwise meh.

Looks fantastic. I was never interested in playing the first Resistance, but after watching these videos I think I might have to go pick it up today.

This game is going to be just so awesome

I am SO SO happy that they took the XP meter away from the middle of the screen because i could already tell that was going to be annoying as hell
