Resident Evil 5 is a perfect example of this, using up to 4xAA sometimes and have jaggies other times.

I'm going to be honest, at first I thought the very first picture was ingame and I was thinking it looked crappy. I don't know why but the bird flying in that picture looks fake to me.

Well, AC1 wasn't a bad looking game. It was just boring.

The colors look kind of dull

It looks great although some parts look noticeably better than others.

The water is a bit murky, but aside from that i have to say it looks pretty impressive

but AC looks still very nice at least on SLI

the water can never be as nice as Uncharted 2. The best water ive seen on a console is on U2.

I don't think all these shots do AC2 any justice. But nice comparison's nonetheless.
