In the midst of all the hype for Bayonetta, Dante's Inferno and God of War, the little gem Darksiders is trying to prove its worth, and tbh, it is looking mighty fine. Technically Darksiders is a different type of game, but you have to give it credit.

Oh man, this vid makes the graphics look way better than I had seen in prior vids. And I was already freaking dandy with how it was!

He used a dashing maneuver quite a bit, just not when fighting the big monsters. So yeah, pretty crappy player. The game looks just great btw.

He is showing off counters I think. But a question for the above poster.. how does this look like god of war? Seriously I am starting to believe people now when they say cows view everything as god of war.

Yeah it has similarities but isn't a total rip off like DI is of GOW3 down to the same button used almost for every action.

I am so ready to dig into this one. Old school hack n' slash on one level, yet with a nice gameplay variety overall that makes it something more. Kind of an old school, new school mix of sorts. Of course it also has exploration, dungeons, lots of boss fights and puzzles, great art and special effects, ect. It is just easy to see that it will be a blast to play.

It looks cool. It seems to be a mix of WOW, Zelda, and Metroid Prime. What really is bugging me is that people keep saying this is gonna be a zelda killer. A zelda killer? yeah ok sure. still i probably will buy it anyway. i need more games for my 360

There will never be a Zelda killer although I for one can see this being a better game than at least some of the Zeldas.

I don't think anyone sane will claim that the Zeldas suck but it's not like they're flawless pieces of art either.

just thought I would bump this topic with the new trailer instead of creating a new one.

The force is strong with this game. No way it will get less than an 8.0 in my opinion, but I have seen enough to know I will dig it, regardless.

I preordered itabout a month ago. It looks like a great game.
