Very nice. So much better than the original ads they were running in America.
I think the last one was a bit lacking, though.
They are impressive but sony is too cheap to run the whole ads
even though its short as hell they cut it down.
[QUOTE="munkeypoo45"]wow s thats a lot better than that "reflection" one. the one that says what on your wish list, or something like that.Oroin
better then the old ones, especially the one with the baby doll crying (creeped me out), anyone remember?
How about just show people having fun playing the games, kinda like what Nintendo do in their ads or just show the games straight up and not in reflections and such just like MS. Also I noticed they don't show the starting price anymore for the PS3. I remember like last month or so, they always announce that "now starting at $399" in the end, but I guess that won't woo buyers now a days.

Sorry, but these are terrible.
Images of games being projected on buildings, cars and t-shirts is stupid.
You mean the one with the whole "Ladies & Gentlemen" rock theme? Eh, I think that campaign could've used more subtlety instead of being all in your face throughout. All pretty good ads that compliment the regular individual game ads. Last years campaign was better though.

I own a PS3, so dont call me a fanboy... but that ad sucks. If i was on the fence, that would do nothing to sway me, if anything it would confuse me.
The Gears 2 commercial (and the Halo3 ones) were really epic, something which PS3 should do.
why does Sony hype Motorstorm as one of it's big apps and not insert MGS4 instead? Konami should go multiplat, Sony doesnt support them nearly as much as they deserve
Just because you own a console doesn't mean you can't be a fanboy. And you sir give the impression of a 360 fanboy.I own a PS3, so dont call me a fanboy... but that ad sucks. If i was on the fence, that would do nothing to sway me, if anything it would confuse me.

They are pretty cool, I like the 1st and 2nd ones. The wishlist commercials are crap. At least Sony is actually making good advertisements this time. At a time, Sony wasn't advertising at all. If done right, The Dark Knight Bundled with a PS3 could move consoles. Especially all those crazed Heath Ledger fanboys. To bad its to late, Black Friday is almost here its to late for new bundles and price cuts.WatchmenWatchUs
It is sad that what might sell more PS3s isn't even a game at all...
gears 2 add crap, gears 1 epic..I own a PS3, so dont call me a fanboy... but that ad sucks. If i was on the fence, that would do nothing to sway me, if anything it would confuse me.

Wow... Those are the best Sony Ads I've ever seen... To bad thats not saying much...W1ckedGo0seYeah. If they really want to impress, they should stick their console against an empty white background doing nothing while having the voice of some emotionless nerdy guy present it. Now THAT would turn some heads.8)
The third reminds me of the movie Polar Express for some reason. Maybe it's just the music. :P
The Ads were pretty cool, especially the first one. I've only seen the third one on TV though.

haha, nope. I only own a PS3.. but i seem to be one of the few who can point out the huge flaws of our console, such as its terrible advertising this gen. Theres a reason X360 has outsold it so much (and not just because of the lower price or year head start). M$ managed to make the 360 seem like the 'cool next gen console to get'... Nintendo appealed to the casuals, or people who craved attention (youre havin a laugh if you dont think console shortages are a purposeful ploy to create demand)... meanwhile PS3 lacks an identity. Sure, I know its the best console, with the best value and hardware, but the average person doesnt. That's where marketing should do its job, but unfortunately it hasnt.

If you remove the images projected on the buildings, shirts, etc. you would not know it's a commercial about the PS3. But then again Sony always does that, they just show something crazy and add a Playstation logo in the end. Artistically it looks good, that's about it.

well if you remove images of a specific car, TV model, computer model, toothbpaste, toilet paper brand etc etc we wouldnt know what the commercials are talking about... wouldnt we???
i liked the commercial, its cool
That logic doesn't fly because they did show gameplay :?. Anyone could say the same for the XBOX 'live your moment' ads. "If MS didn't show half of the person's head missing with live-action resemblance of a game, we wouldn't know what was going on." The new 'reflections' ads and its extensions perfectly fit the holiday, game library, and community selling points. Its fun to watch, informative, and artistic. If you remove the images projected on the buildings, shirts, etc. you would not know it's a commercial about the PS3. But then again Sony always does that, they just show something crazy and add a Playstation logo in the end. Artistically it looks good, that's about it.
