I like the open world style quick time event gameplay system they seem to have going on. Seems like it may work a lot better than Heavy Rain (which I think worked very well).

Damn you! It's going to be almost impossible to get from now till launch day without a few spoilers. I'm trying hard to keep myself in black out mode. I will add this title to my library day one for sure.

I doubt that, considering the antique hardware it's running on. Everything just looks ridiculously low poly, with low texture resolution. But the realistic animations, facial features and exquisite sound design alleviate these issues, i guess.

I'm not interested in these interactive movies Quantic Dream likes to make, but i am definitely curious to see what they can do on the PS4 hardware.

The faces are undeniably amazing looking, very very impressive stuff. Everything else though looks bad. Clothes textures clash instantly with the high detail of the faces which instead of immersing me reminds me I'm playing/looking at a game. Still though it lends credence to cage's notion of rendering that old man real time next gen

However these games have such little gameplay and interaction that I usually don't like them. Didn't like the characters in Heavy rain either. Actually going to HD and full screen shows the very rough edges of the game, AA crawling everywhere

Looks fantastic. I don't understand all the fanboy dribble being stated...but the game itself looks great. Loved Heavy Rain so this is a must buy for me.

Even though I love my PS3, I probably won't play this. I guess I just see it as an interactive movies produced by one on the most pompous asses in the business.

Looks great! I played Fahrenheit and Heavy Rain to death but not watching any videos as these games are story heavy, prefer to see every new scene as I play it. :)

QTEs are annoying in games that have a combat system and just switch to a QTE because it isn't needed. but when it is is a game like this they don't bother me so much as the story and the decisions and immersion are the main aspect.

Wow, Didn't expect that concept at all, I thought the game was going to be based on something completely different, that being said it looks awesome and it looks like there is going to be a huge amount of gameplay using the entity.

The hype this game gets is just more proof that cows seem to only care about graphics.

I'll continue to play my games with actual good gameplay. Even the Telltale Walking Dead game is looking to have better gameplay than this. :lol:

This image looks great resized smaller but open it in a enw tab and click to zoom on the snow beneath her, it's just a flat compressed image lol That being said it's at a stupidly high res not even close to what the console can do so it screams bullshot

This... the lackluster surrounding textures strongly clash with great looking faces and facial animation.

Still, enjoyed Heavy Rain, so if I still owned a PS3, would probably give this a shot.

Still, enjoyed Heavy Rain, so if I still owned a PS3, would probably give this a shot.

I still want to know why like ever picture and trailer has only ellen page's face covered in water, it's like they really want to show off the effect, but I'm getting tired of just seeing ellen page's face being shiny.

All of the stuff as the "ghost" was gameplay, taking over the doctor and walking him was gameplay, the fight scene was gameplay (without the button prompts), and all of the stuff with her walking around in those labs was gameplay. You all should know how Quantic Dream games work by now.

Anyway, day 1 buy for me.
