Bioshock looks absolutely incredible. This is one of my most anicipated games. The gameplay, premise, graphics, story, and art directions is extraordinary. Bioschock has a good chance of winning GOTY, in my opinion.

I dont think it runs off Doom 3 engine, the doom 3 engine its a little outdated at this point, but still nice.

Oh, and you are wrong to state this is using the Unreal Engine 2.5. A number of sources, as well as the developers have stated that the game is running on Unreal Engine 3.

The piping doesn't appear similiar to Doom 3 to me, and besides which, other than it being a FPS, this is a very different game.

p.s. technically the wii is also an "inferior" console, and yet it is blowing the ps3 away, the 360 is always demolishing the ps3.

Bioshock is one of the most impressive games i have ever seen, maybe then old engines are 10x better than new ones ?
