Pretty bad voice acting imo...i might have to leave the japanese audio on if it sounds that bad in the final product... :/

I wonder if there's a setting to turn the voice acting off. Seriously, I'd be fine with reading.

If I decide to jump back into this game, I will stick to the Japanese version. Voice acting isn't terrible but it isn't good.

100% agree, that is the major reason this is one of my most anticipated games

Voice acting feels like it was overlayed over the video instead of part of the game. Looks good though.OreoMilkshake

The VA was ok, but it seemed as if it wasn't touched up or recorded solely for the trailer. I hope that is the case, but makes sense if we aren't to expect it until sometime in 2014 - they could still be localizing it. 

Looks great though - I love games with job/class systems.

That english voice acting sounded like nails on a chalkboard, I'll choose Japanese.

Certainly one of the most unique JRPGs and like 10 billion million trillion times better than FF13 series counted whole

The characters are FF9 like which is a huge plus

And a game's quality is not judged by its dub

Bravely Default Art Album

I have stopped looking at the stunning art myself, because makes the waiting so much harder

I just hope we get that art album though, will be a HUGE loss if they dont have a special edition with it

Game looks fun, even though I don't like Final Fantasy this looks more similar to FFIIIDS than the other ones, so it has my excitement.

As for the voice acting, you are all a bunch of babies, I find it pretty endearing for the more old-school (and medieval-ly) FF-like-games. On top of that, there is no way the voice acting is worse than Ring of Fates or Echoes of Time.

Story-wise, I'm glad it seems like the story is simply, "Go get those crystals, Hero(es)." FFIV was a cluster when it tried just barely more depth than that.

All-in-all, looking forward to it.

For me is the only true FF after FF10

The 2D art is an integral part of what made FF7-8-9 so special (and FF10 to an extend, it used a mix of 2D and 3D)

Love the design/ style of this game.

3DS G.O.T.Y 2014 will either be Smash, Professor Layton vs Ace Attorney, or Bravely Default. Unless a 2.5D Metroid comes out, it's about time.
