New Confirmed Feature For The New Xbox Experience!

As usual, just wanted to share info, discuss.....

While you worrying about Xbox Live being down for another 4 hours last night, a new feature was added to the New Xbox Experience feature list. Xbox Live users who this fall take advantage of the Netflix Instant Stream service, can now experience Starz Play. Starz and Netflix inked a deal to provide Netflix users with Starz Play access as part of there Netflix subscription.

Not stoping there, Netflix also added CBS and ABC to their list of partners. This fall Netflix will have all CBS and ABC shows on demand 24 hours after its original show time. These deals add significantly to a growing library of over 12,000 choices of movies and TV episodes that can be watched instantly through your Xbox 360.

Whats the difference between the regular Netflix and the Xbox Experience Netflix?Zero5000X

While watching netflix, streaming movies stays within the context of Xbox Live. Meaning, other than sharing your movie with other XBL user with Netflix, you can still message, get alerts, voicechat, etc.

I agree, that's pretty crappy. Thanks to rights and copy protection laws, it won't go elsewhere unless netflix does.

from my understanding there is no xbox version you get the 8.99 or up plan with netflix http://www.netflix.com/HowItWorks

have an xbox live gold membership and the 2 link together and you can do the unlimited streaming pc stuff with your 360.

So you still have to have a gold membership to live and pay for the monthly nexflix fee. I'm sure there will be different variations of the service once the xbox features hit though.

That's pretty sweet. I've been thinking of getting Netflix, this could push me over. :P

Yet I also get premium channels from my cable provider and on-demand viewings of them too. >_> Well I'll see if I ever use this, but something tells me I may not either. I hardly watch any t.v. :D

No they don't. 360 wont be getting it till later and there hasn't been an announcement for integration for Netfix with PS3 at all.

While I probably wont use any of these features, Microsoft is really in touch with innovative ideas of how to push and evolve XBL.

Why? Movies are 24 hour rentals, and TV shows can be deleted and re-downloaded at no cost.

well if you dont want to get gold just buy the box from netflix for $99....you still have to pay the $8.99/m fee
