This. And GDC, so we can hopefully get some proper PC footage. But yeh, MP should be fun, though SP is where it's at. Gears 3 and BF3 are right around the corner, and that's all I need for my MP fix.I just want my PC demo already.
agpickle
well, I couldn't care less about the multiplayer, it looks exactly like cod. Hopefully the mp is just the side dish, and Crytek cooked up a mean campaign :)
I am reeeally looking forward to the single player, I just hope it lives up to crysis. Oh, and I lol'd at the camping like a baby part :P
you maxed crysis with that rig?Looks like this rig won't max this game out like it did with Crysis.

iirc he said he only got 23 fps.

well that is fairly plausible for the mid 20s fps i suppose. There have been a couple other people on here claiming they could max crysis at 1680x1050 on a 8800gt, one even saying he was getting 40fps.Yeah, at 800x600.[QUOTE="stiggy321"][QUOTE="ferret-gamer"] you maxed crysis with that rig? Yes. I'm thinking about getting a Core 2 Quad and a GTX 560 Ti. As soon as I have the money, of course... Old tech, sure, but it'll last me.

you might as well get a new motherboard and the i5 sandy bridge if you're going to have the same build for as long as you did your current one.
personally though i go with amd.

No, I don't want to part with LGA775 just yet. I'm waiting for Haswell/Rockwell before I upgrade to the next platform.
the console versions have always had sunshafts :PSaw me some sunshafts there. PC online footage then? Anyways, cannot wait. :D

Really now? Online? They sure as hell aren't there now in the 360 demo. :P
They were there actually on the Pier 17 map.I just don't understand who the hell works for Cryteks PR team...I mean sending the worst possible map as demo?
If you want to get owned by people just because they got more upgrades than you rather skill. Yeah, it looks good.dakan45None of the modules they showed looked over powered. A good example of what you're talking about, would be magnum ammo from BC2, which gives you stronger bullets, which none of C2's modules do.

it better have a good story or it will flop hard, its a new fps standard now on GS.Don't know why people say that doesn't impress graphically. I think it look stunning.

Any core 2 Quad is a waste of money unless you get it on ebay for 130 dollars. Buy a good cooler and overclock your cpu a lot. The 560 looks like a good card. I sincerely doubt you "maxed" crysis over 20 fps... even at 800x600. And running all details on ultra or very high does not mean "maxed." This multiplayer better not suck as much as the first game's multiplayer. This multiplayer better not suck as much as the first game's multiplayer.stiggy321
This multiplayer can't touch Crysis Wars. Has 20 players less, no vehicles, small maps and slow soldiers. I known that Crysis mp wasn't popular, but did show a decent mixture of Battlefield (scale, vehicles) and Counter Strike (buying weapons and customizations durinmg the match) concepts with superb visuals.
I'm not saying that C2 mp will suck, but is a COD clone that puts nothing new on the table -except fat and slow soldiers-.
