New Crysis Multiplayer Screenshots and Article and Video!

Gamespot has just posted new multi screenshots of Crysis.

There's also an article up with a video showing some old multiplayer pre-alpha footage of deathmatch.

their are tons...Just look at any gameplay trailer at GT....their are very many of them.

The multiplayer video is awesome. I love how fast-paced it is ("Max. Speed" mode ftw.)

I really wanna see footage of the other multiplayer modes though :(

They actually didnt talk about their biggest multiplayer mode, they made a refrence to it.  Go to incrysis.com to see it.

I like the first one, the texture on the walkway is really nice, does anyone know if this is first and third person? Can you take cover ala R6V?

It's not CG quality, but the models in those screenshots are anything but low poly, and the texture quality is well above "next-gen" standards.

game just keeps looking better and better. I can see where switching between speed, strength.... ect...ect can become overwhelming though. ( in multi I mean )shaggymcp

Maybe at first..but after playing for a while, you'll get used to it. (You can hotkey the suit modes, so you don't have to bring up that menu.)

It adds a ton of depth to the game. And depth is what's needed to keep people playing the game's multiplayer for years.

The only thing lacking is some slightly better normal mapping on that brick chimmney (or whatever it is.) The texture on that particular surface itself looks fine though. I honestly don't see anything else in that screenshot not being "Crysis quality."

Wow thats all I gotta say this game really is no joke.  This about the most realistic pic I've seen of an FPS game, I just wish it was coming to the ps3.

The video was disapointing, very (coming from a Crysis Hyper :) ) , boring level design, no nano-suit energy limit (unlimted speed + bunnyhopping = **** , that being said though, I never expected Crysis to have a good deathmatch, the tactical elements dont work in Deathmatch to the same gameplay fun as say Unreal does, but the Powerstruggle BField like mode will be awesome.

This is Pre-Alpha, thats right Pre-Alpha :P, and it already looks that good.

Pre-Alpha shots? Liar doesnt have much going on, and I mean that, its effects are crap (Fire anyone? the biggest part of the graphics flopping) while the shooting / explosions / water / large mile view (Liars is limited to the RAM and streams alot smaller distance)....
