Jump cancelling is also confirmed.
There's no QTE nonsense either! I think this game will surprise the haters.

amazing if you're a fan of low frame-rate, canned combos and Twilight. edit: That frame-cancelling confirmation is bullcrap just like the 30 frames that will feel like 60. If that were possible no fighting game would be running at 60 frames.
And I hear tons of people talking about frame-cancelling on the reboot but where is the link?
As one of the main detractors for this game, i have to admit, its looking way bettert than the awful first impressions we got last year...with that being said, its still below the true DMC as well as other great action games (NGB, Bayonetta...hell even LoS) and it also looks sooooooooooo slow...might get it when it hits the 15$ (which it shouldn't take that much) and we get the outfit for the true Dante (via DLC of course, i mean is Crapcom after all).
I'm not sure if I'm allowed to say this game looks good yet or if I'm still obligated to be a jackass about it being a reboot.
ofc it looks better - ninja theory's is great at creating aesthetically pleasing games - their problem is that all of their titles have been all flash and no substance. I don't think the combat will be nearly as good as DMC3 or 4, but we'll have to wait and seeStill continues to look better than any of the previous DMC games before it -- personally feel the slower-paced gameplay gives this one a much more satisfying looking flow combat wise as well.

lol Why does Dante look like that bisexual Canadian cannibal murderer guy that's been in the news lately?

I think he looks like a douche...he has that kind of face you just want to punch numerous times.
Not when comparing the PC version of DMC4....at least not when comparing the console version of the new DMC. And what console gamers did not know is that DMC4 never ran anywhere near a consistent 60fps on their systems. It was usually around 45fps and it would have dips. Consolites wish their version of DMC4 could have as many enemies on screen but their consoles can't handle it.Still continues to look better than any of the previous DMC games before it -- personally feel the slower-paced gameplay gives this one a much more satisfying looking flow combat wise as well.

Lol'di dont care who made the game just look who is behind them CAPCOM lets wait and see for the in game dlc
. il wait to buy any capcom game use or a bootleg yeahi said it
If being locked at 30 FPS is the biggest flaw of the console version then this is going to be awesome lol.
Yeah it looks great. Will be getting the PC version. I have no personal attachment to Dante so I couldn't care less what he looks like.
Jump canceling isn't neccesery if you can do air combos with no effort. Wow manual lock on and the stinger looking like the one from Dmc2.

I see. I totally don't expect it to be as deep or stylish as 3 and 4 either -- mainly because it's a reboot by a new dev, but yeah, hopefully it'll offer enough in the end overall to keep from feeling bland.

lol! Wow! Dunno how I forgot DMC4 was even for PC. I do remember playing the demo of it a few times on XBL and it definitely felt like a crisp 60FPS to me, though I did notice a few dips here and there between entering and leaving certain areas(didn't last long though) -- I'll have to check it out.

This ;)
DMC is one of the few games where consolites apparently had a problem with 30 fps, but memories of DMC4 seem a little glossy:P
