The graphics are kind of underwhelming...we all know they can push the Wii a little more then THAT
but I like how Mickey looks
Gee it sure is cOLD in here. Anyways screenshots are nice but....but the concept art! Its so different from the concept art!
I think when they get the proper lighting and effects into the game, it will look great. If there is one thing Warren Spector's games have in common, it is creating a game oozing with atmosphere. These screens do not show that yet which leads me to believe that there is still lots of work to be done in regards to art and level design.
What platform is it for? and why are you posting this?... do you think the game will be good or something?Too_tight_shoesWii and because there are people that care.
Already posted.OreoMilkshakeGamespot's forum search is fail. :(
:( I was hoping for a cell shaded look...or if not that then a gritty look. I'll continue to hold judgment until I see some gameplay.
As I said before, it could look better (mostly the environment), but I going with it too early to tell, since the pics so far are just showing one world I think (plus the 2D levels) and this game is coming out next fall, so Junction Point still has time to polish it. Otherwise those animations videos look great, and I like Mickey's looks.
Is it just me, or does the model for Mickey look really out of place? It looks better than anything else in the screens, which suggests to me that these are REALLY early, and will recieve an immense coat of polish in the end.
There seems to be quite a big gap between the concept art and this... but then again, I never really thought Disney would go all out where the concept stuff seemed to go. It looks good, Im still very much interested :)
We havent even seen it in motion yet! Besides, Spector is behind this!Looks like a poorly developed game...

I see not too many people know who Warren Spector is. :(

im not worried at all
I see many ppl who shouldn't care and should judge based on the product they are seeing so far : DI see not too many people know who Warren Spector is. :(

I see many ppl who shouldn't care and should judge based on the product they are seeing so far : D They are judging it because it isnt as dark and twisted as they wanted it to be not by the actual product its self people didnt complain when mario wasnt dark yet they do nowI wished this game gets pushed back to 2011 because it looks like the developer needs more time for polish the graphics.
its the wii....its not like its gonna go much fartherI wished this game gets pushed back to 2011 because it looks like the developer needs more time for polish the graphics.

It's the only thing we can judge currently and it looks not epic at all.Warren Spector is behind this, so it will probably be really good... still, can you imagine what this would look like on a true next-gen console? Imagine this with Ratchet's graphics...
Warren Specter or not, this game has lame graphics and even lamer subject matter. Do you people really like Mickey Mouse?MacaroniMosesMickey Mouse rules.
i doubt it will be as deep as Deus Exstereointegritynot many games are. but im sure it will be deeper then most platformers

it has a long way to look as nice as mario galaxy
or metroid prime trilogy
[QUOTE="uglyhippos"]its the wii....its not like its gonna go much farther There is always time to polish a game. But I didn't really like the animations and it could look alot better. Mario Galaxy, Red Steel 2, TvsC and Metroid all look better. The game was announced like what, 2 months ago? And all that was shown was concept art, early screens and early animation, tells me the developer is still in early development.I wished this game gets pushed back to 2011 because it looks like the developer needs more time for polish the graphics.

The word "epic" can be used to describe many things other than a style or visual prowess.
1. An extended narrative poem in elevated or dignified language, celebrating the feats of a legendary or traditional hero.
2. A literary or dramatic composition that resembles an extended narrative poem celebrating heroic feats.
3. A series of events considered appropriate to an epic: the epic of the Old West.
1. Of, constituting, having to do with, or suggestive of a literary epic: an epic poem.
2. Surpassing the usual or ordinary, particularly in scope or size.
3. Heroic and impressive in quality
Yeah. Epic Mickey is as of now none of those.
