I thought Farcry2 was using modified CryEngine1, but according to wiki it's using engine called Dunia.

Wiki is wrong.... It uses a 90% new codebase from CryENGINE 1 but its fundamentally the same engine. And it is impressive. I believe the people that have seen it in action and according to them, it is only slightly less amazing graphically than Crysis and 100% the second best looking game graphically. The screenshots look bad because they have a "dirty filter" on them to make them look gritty and dirty... The environmental interactivity is at least at the level of Crysis, and the gameplay is ultra-realistic. Shoot a guy in the arm and his arm doesn't work. Shoot his knees and he can't walk. Shoot his face and he is dead. Shoot his chest and he is severely injured. Medics can heal you and the enemies(enemy medics will...) and you can setup ambushes by wounding a person and then waiting for the medic so you can snipe him. That will make your job easier. You can shoot out peoples legs and then torch them with a flamethrower to gain infamy. It sounds awesome.

Also... tell me this looks bad....

Top notch smoke effects, great motion blur, highly detailed grass, amazing fire, realistic sky, high detail gun model, great detail on the hands.... If you say that looks bad you are blind.

Personally I'm sick of the overuse of motion blur.

However, I'm hyped for this game though. Doesn't even sound like a Far Cry game.

Who cares. On paper (for us) this game sounds super sweet.

Honestly, I'm going to hype this game far more than Crysis. Not even Halo 3 pumped me up as fast because of one preview.

Yep. I was amazed with Ubisoft when they said that. That's why I believe it will be amazing. Ubisoft doesn't do exclusives... specially for the PC, so when they said they were you know they have a reason and that reason is an amazing vision of the game. Focus on one platform to make the best game possible...
