New FFXIII info: An Antagonist Revealed and Odin Details

Antagonist's name is Yaag Rosch (try reversing Yaag)

I really hope summons are useful in this one...

He has silver hair? How did I know :roll:

not certain its the main villain. in fact, i'd almost bet its not. the games usually build to allude to the real villain (even though it's usually pretty obvious from the beginning) in ff4 you didn't find out who the real villain was until almost the end of the game. in ff1 you didn't find out until the very end of the game. ff9's boss wasn't really even mentioned in the entire game, he just kinda shows up. ffx they tried to throw you off who the main villain was, same kinda in ff8. ff12 also did the same, it had so many villains it never really revealed the boss until almost the end.

Well in 12, Its like they try to make you wonder about who the last boss is. then it turns out to be Vayne... I was let down to say the least.

Having put over 100 hours into that game without completing it my initial thought was to be angry over having it spoiled for me. Then I realized I had no idea who that person is and remembered that I stopped caring about the story because it sucks.

Prior to FFX summons were more like magic with a nice cinematic. Although yes summons could serve as a cheap way to win a battle at times but that's not why I liked them in FFX :P

God, no... I guess I should've expected this. The interesting antagonists in Final Fantasy are few and very, very far between...The ones with long white hair and questionable sexualities are too common for me. This character's typical appearance worries me :|

They weren't but there were certain sections where you had to fight the dark aeons again.

Anyway i really need to stop looking at FFXIII info with the gaming coming out in a few months. What killed FFXII for me wasnt all the reasons people usually state but the fact that it came a year and a half later out in EU and i practically new everything about the game. I still remember breezing through the first half saying "thats right, i have to go over there then there then watch a cutscene" etc.
