I played that piece of shit for about an hour at most and sent it back. It was only a rental though. Fucking horrible weeaboo filth full of annoying characters. "Last time on Final Fantasy, kupo!" made me sick.

Xlll-2 was great the monster hunts and the boss fights were great. Great music and good graphics also good story. Lots of side quest with good fighting system. What else do you want ??

I didn't think there really were reviews at least here until the US/rest of world release.

I'll probably play this though unless it gets bad reviews. XIII and XIII-2 were both reasonably fun despite some obvious flaws.

Finalstar will make a hype thread when the time is right so we all can laugh about it. For the time being I only care about FFXV and I hope it'll turn out good. I have never liked Nomura's style that much though because it's too dark and kind of goth and then the intense bromance but he's the only one left with some talent at Square. Nomura might pull it off, he said he's been brainstorming the game since the days of FFVII.

The series has lost much of its weight, it's not even funny.

i think they need to become exclusive again, the fuzz and the propaganda from the fanboys will generate hype for it again :D .

I played it until the final boss... Yeah...

Some aspects were alright... The story and characters were pretty dreadful. I can't put into words, just how much I find Serah annoying.

It was more of a joke. I enjoyed XIII. I played XIII-2 until the final boss, but I found it pretty terrible, personally.

@no-scope-AK47: the game was miles better than XIII, but it was easy as hell. There was absolutely no challenge in the game at all. Instead of putting a hard mode, they added an easy mode for some reason. That's what scares me about lightning returns. FF XIII had the right amount of difficulty. Also the mog and chocolina were annoying as f*ck.

The lack of annoying weeaboo crap like I described.

Gameplay and battle system both look solid. I can't wait. Btw the reason why it's not reviewed yet is because it's not coming out in the west until February.

The game isn't out in the site's home country. It's months away.

Because its a sequel of a bad sequel to a bad sequel. FF XV looks better then this shit. Hopefully it delivers

Hell, I beat both XIII and XII-2, and I don't remember a damn thing about either game.

I'll agree that the combat system is actually pretty satisfying later in the game - it just seems terrible because the vast majority of fights are against filler enemies that require no strategy to beat.

Beyond that though...yeah, all of the characters of XIII are woefully bad (besides Sazh. Maybe), and the plots are aimless meandering crapfests.

Square Enix just doesn't get it and so its losing its western fans.
