NEW Final Fantasy XIII Screenshots from GamesCom!

Some of them are the old areas we've seen already but you can tell that some graphical touches have been made. I'm pretty impressed.

Looks great to me.

The graphics look good, not as good as Square Enixs salary could have provided, but still good.

Everytime I see FF13 screen shots the keep looking further and further away from the E3 trailer... :(Shattered007

The last two are clearly CGI, other than that the game looks really good. I'm getting a little excited for it now. Question: How will encounters be handled? Real time or random?mythrol

I voted great as they look great but arn't as mind-blowing as they used to be. Still will be a great game though.

Any game it's comparable to? Like Tales of Vesperia? Or Blue Dragon?

I'm skeptical whether it will look good in the end-product. It's as if square is rolling the dice, whether it will look superb/good or bad will depend on luck. The inconsistency just keeps bothering me...

And what type of guy, even of the JRPG (or J anything) variety would wear a short skirt?
There is bridget from Guilty gear, but at least he was pretty much raised as a female so it makes some sort of sense.

Whoa. That is amazing. This is looking to be a fantastic JRPG. Looks like it'll better than any other Final Fantasy game(excpet maybe Tactics.)

Nice pics. If I had a PS3 or 360, I would definetly get this game, along with versus XIII whenever that comes out.

last two are prerendered CGI. you can tell by the significantly higher poly count.

Those screenshots are from Crystal Tools running on PC. Expect a downgrade for the actual game on consoles.

Versus 13 isn't on SE list of games for TGS :(.There been alot of rumors that it has been cancelled which I hope aren't true.

as much as i like FF i comepletely agree with you. They need to stop the metrosexual characters. Even my gay friends say so.
