Anyway, this game looks fantastic, framerates look great, graphics and physics look awsome.
This game is gonna cost me though, there is no way that I am going to purchase this game without the wireless wheel. It's gonna cost me over 2 bills to get this game, and I'm gonna love it.
What? I own a 360 and yes Im sad that DMC4 became multiplat. But we gamers gotta accept that 3rd party exclusives are gonna disappear. Games cost as much as Movies right now, Publishers and Devs need to earn money.
And yes you trully need a wheel with this game. Manual transmission using a 360 controller is freaking hard.
Here's the deal, the game is a driving sim, it is meant to reflect real world courses with a real world driving experience, at least the best that current technology can provide. If your looking for more exciting enviorments, go play motostorm, cool jumps with cliffs.
The game(Forza 2) might not be the flashiest on the market, but the graphics along with the physic is quite remarkable. And if your only looking at stricktly graphics, yes, there could possibly be slightly better, though I have yet to see it. But from a driving sim, you can't possibly touch this game from any other console.
And too say that this game is rather bland, please give me two other games that are better. If you say motostorm, I will agree to disagree, they are great bright/punchy/bland graphics, but cartoony and the mapping up close is average. And GT HD, again, I will agree to disagree though this game does offer nice graphics, but that is about all.
I'm not sad at all that DMC4 became multiplat, though I'm must say the game doesn't really interest me. And to say the 3rd party support will not develop for just one console is foolish. I can agree that most 3rd party companies will most likely go multiplat, but it's too early to say that one or the other consoles will not flop, which most likely be the PS3. And if that happens, YES, you will see more 3rd party support exclusively for the 360. And too be fair, but less likely, it could be the other way around.
I just hope they put out a Forza 2/Wireless Wheel package out. And online is gonna be a whoot. I got PGR 3 for my arcade fix, and now Forza 2 for my driving sim fix. Nice thing about driving sim online, you get more serious fans playing, and not the idiots that only try and spin you off the track, though it still does happen, just not as frequent.
