I'm guessing its not going to be a very good electronic drumset.TiefsterIon isn't really known for it's durable instruments I will give you that, but this looks amazing nonetheless.
stand alone drum set wow/ but im still gonna get gh4 over thiss, i skiped gh3 for rock band just because of the drums.. u pretty much need to know how to play the drums just to play with the drums in rock band, so that sucked. so i stucked with the guitar.. witch felt alot more easyer then Gh2 game..
so does this mean I won't be able to use my instruments from Rock Band 1. That would be BS if you can't because they don't expect people to shove out $170 every year and throw away there old instruments.chansaetoh true,(i for got al about that) if you can just buy the single game, and not the instruments.. i will buy it

all you had to do was click the link....
why make a sequel of a rhythm game anyway making the earlier ones obsolete> >
just stick with one version each gen and support that damn it.

killerfist
theyre in it for the moneys :P
Why's everyone pooping over the drums, the cymbals are pointless in the actual game, it'll just confuse you since if look the cymbals are the same colours as 3 of the pads, people playing to get the good scores will just use the pads. Plus it's sold seperately, means the price will probably be REALLY high, may as well just invest and get a proper electronic drum kit if you are that into it...
It's a nice feature to have but I think trying to make the instruments too real is just stupid at the end of the day you're always gonna know it's a piece of plastic...
i don't really care because as pure games, both of them will have no depth whatsoever judging off of guitar hero 3 and rock band. i am not buying either but i might borrow guitar hero from a friend for a quick thrill. seriously, does anyone else get tired of playing the same tracklist over and over...mistervengeanceno. :D but the dlc keeps it from being too samey, anyway.

It's good that they're improving the game, but does anyone else feel kinda let down having bought the original drum kit, only to have this absolutely amazing one come out? I mean i cant buy that too, but it's so much better.Ninja-Hippoit's going to be ridiculously expensive. that's a limited edition drum kit made by a MIDI drum manufacturer.. the official RB2 drum kit looks much more similar to the original.

I love the Guitar I never heard it click when I play but that is because I play lightly but when my friend plays it clicks but it clicks for any Guitar Controller.

Dude they're way, way too expensive to just buy a new one every year. Plus they're freakin' huge. :?

That's all well and good, but can you make your own songs? Will all the tracks be master recordings? Oh, and if you think any self respecting drummer would use that as an electronic drumset you are sorely mistaken.

they mention that they're not even selling the game as a bundle this time.. you can only buy the game alone afaik, and the drums/guitar are optional extras. you know.. given time to work on and fix stuff wrong with the RB1 guitar (strum bar!!!!), i'm willing to bet the 2 one is going to be pretty awesome. That's all well and good, but can you make your own songs? I think they are all master recordings.

Obviously this isn't for actual drummers. It's for people who don't play drums, and it's most likely aimed at the people who have played drums in Rock Band and they either don't own it, or want to get a new Rock Band drum kit that isn't a piece of crap (knock on wood) and then want explore actually playing the drums without following colored markers on pre determined songs.Obviously this isn't for actual drummers. yes. :D the DLC costs too much money, at most it should be 1.50 a song. it's probably just me, but once i play through every song once or twice, that's it. i mean you go into rock band start a band with your friends, and you have to play the same darn songs again. why don't they have more more more, IMO to be worth buying there has to be at least 300 -400 songs.(that come with the instruments for 160 bucks.)
\1) No, but with over 350+ songs why would I need to? I have all of the DLC and they release it every week. In fact we get The Who next week... 2) Yes 3) Wow I actually know a few who have pre-ordered or plan on doing it as we speak. Funny you mention that, please tell me how you think GH4's Drumset is better? Or are you just moaning for the sake of moaning? Can you have your vocals in your "created" songs? Can you import the music from a CD instead of painstaking making it? Is it going to sound exactly like the recording? My guess is "No" to every single one of my questions. That's all well and good, but can you make your own songs? Will all the tracks be master recordings?
